Okay, another 1st birthday question. Did you do party favors/goodie bags for your LO's 1st birthday? I'm indecisive. Like, most of our guests are family/adults. There are maybe 4 kids coming (all babies, so they won't really care). I feel like I ought to make a goodie bag, but do you think it will just be a waste of money? And if I did make one, what would I even put in it? I did see these cute "1" cookies but for $4 a pop...ummm, no thanks. Oh, and I'm not very cooking/baking savvy so I wouldn't feel comfortable making my own....

I didn't. I think it's a waste of money. 1 year olds won't know the difference. Save it for when they are 4 or 5.

Yes we did, but there were only a couple kids. We gave puffs to the two 1 year olds and Uno playing cards (because she was turning uno!) To the older kids, who were 3, 4 and 5

I went to a first birthday where the favor was one of those toddler mess-resistant snack cups. I thought that was kind of cool since it saved me from buying one but I just looked up the price - too much money for a favor.
My LO's party will not have favors. I never understood favors though.

We had a bunch of kids between a few months and 3-4 years old so we gave out sidewalk chalk and bubbles. I packaged them in a clear cellophane bag with a cute tag that I made myself. It was inexpensive and I think the kids liked it. I was also really on the fence about doing favors but I think I spent only about $15 on supplies and made a ton of these to give out.

For kids only we got play packs at Target for a dollar each! Came with little coloring book four crayons and some stickers. There were some cool things in their bargain bins by the doors.

We will pass out bags of m and m's because her first name is two m's.

We didn't give any out but made sure to buy extra yummy candy for the piñata
We also had a dessert table full of yummy stuff they could enjoy during or take home for later. I'm pretty sure not one person missed the lack of favors.

I just gave goodie bags to the kids.

We had the kids make sand art and that was the favor - nothing for the adults.
Since you only have 4 LO's coming how about a book?

We are doing them since all the kids coming are older. Plus I like doing them!

We had a springy theme so for the adults we did potted herbs and the kids got little watering cans with age appropriate treats inside. Pouches for the 1 year old and small toys for the older kids.

We gave board books in the theme of the party.
They are my favourite favour to receive also. -
Since all the kids are babies, I say pass. If they're a little older, I would do something small just for the kids. The adults probably don't care/need favor bags.

My friends usually do goodie bags just for the kids, and i might copy that. E got some baby chew toys at the last party and i thought that was very sweet!

LO loves "What Does the Fox Say" so she had a fox themed party. Her four little guests got stuffed foxes to take home.

nope we didnt! Honestly all the favors we have gotten from kids parties always end up in the garabge after a couple days!

Cupcakes for adults and age appropriate toys for the 3 kids who came.

Yes, I gave out for kids (12 kids). It was a Winter ONE-derland theme so I included a personalized winter themed coloring book with the kid's name on it, a snowflake picture frame, crayons, and a pair of cute socks with a tag that says "keep warm". I didn't give anything to the adults, but we did have a hot cocoa bar where they can take to go.

I didn't want to fill a goodie bag with kits if stuff that would be thrown out... so instead I made sugar cookies that fit the theme of the party and gave those to the adults. Kids got homemade play dough!

For the kids - yes. We usually get something small for the kids - like bubbles, whistle, rattle. I'm thinking a little hair accessory for the girls.

We didn't give anything out. Our only kid guests were all under 2 and their parents don't need anymore stuff in the house either. Everyone ate tons and there were cupcakes, that's all that they cared about! lol!

We had 20 kids under 12 at our party, and most were older than L, so i did goody bags. We had a fish theme so i did a baggie of fun fish/worm/shark gummies; stickers that matched the label that held the whole bag closed (bought a plum district deal for those), glow bracelets from the Target $1 bin, a packet of Goldfish, and a fish or shark toy from a tub of clearanced Target figurines. ($6 for 40 pieces.) I probably spent $35 for everything, max.
