My friends son is turning one soon. They have SO many toys because he is the second child (although their first child is a girl).
I am looking for either some REALLY unique toys that are geared for a boy or something thats not a toy but still a gift for the child.
Any suggestions?

What are they into? We go camping with our friends so we got their son a play tent, camp chair, and kid's flash light.

@mediagirl: I think they are doing splash pools for the kids and a finding nemo theme.
@artbee: they aren't "into" a lot. They do a lot of tailgating in the Fall and then family stuff on the weekends. She shops garage sales so they always have a TON of toys.

Let's see, for DS's birthday he got clothes, Little People toys, and a PBK Anywhere chair.
What about an experience gift? I love getting things the whole family can enjoy, like a trip to the children's museum or zoo.

@T.H.O.U.: could you get him something water/nemo related? A friend got M a ladybug floor blanket and a ladybug doll as her gift. It was so thoughtful!!

@T.H.O.U.: what about a personalized jersey for their favorite football team? Or a kids camp chair with that team for tailgating?
