When you have 2+ kids do you double up on bathtime every time? My oldest prefers to bathe alone, she likes the water warmer than I care to go for the 18 month old, which means 2 separate baths. I love the nights they will jump in together, it's so much quicker! DO you do separate or combined baths?

All combined. Since LO2 was about 8 months old. They don't know any different for now.

Up until last night I was combining and it was great. But now my 9 month old is trying to climb out of her little seat and drown herself so I can't take my eyes or hands off her for a second to wash the 3 year old. I have no idea how I'm going to do it now. She will be big enough to just sit within a few months but right now I don't trust her sitting up in the tub without a hand directly on her, which makes washing the toddler impossible.

If I'm doing bath time alone, I'll bathe them both at once. When I was bathing them separately, either the baby was crying because she had to wait, or I had to let her sit on the floor by the tub and get her PJs dirty. Plus the toddler now tries to help by holding the shower thingy

Together. But I'll let the oldest soak with some fresh hot water alone while I get the younger one out and dried and do teeth and Pjs

Together! DH usually washes the baby and I wash the toddler. No idea what's going to happen once #3 is around.

Separately. DS 1 (2.5) takes a shower when he needs one (a few times a week). DS 2 (3 months) gets a shower with me on the weekends. Anything more than that is too hard to fit in right now. I'm hoping to do joint bath time in a few months though.

Combined. DS will usually only go in for a bit and then I will put him to bed and then DD gets it to herself for a bit.

Combined unless one of my children is busy. We bathe everyday so I do like them to bathe together right before bed.

My kids are 4 (today!) and 22 months and it's always been combined. Thank goodness!

Separate - for a while we asked B every night what he wanted, he always wanted W to go in first, so now we just always bathe W first while B gets a few extra minutes of play in and then put B. Once W is more stable sitting up we'll probably put them in together.

Mine shower in the mornings. Sometimes together sometimes separate.

Separate. A is 7 months and only gets a bath 2-3 times a week. E is 4 and takes a shower every night. I wouldn't trust him not to splash too much or knock her over anyway.

Combined. Sometimes 1&2 then 3, sometimes 2&3 then 1. Depends on naps and bed time timing.

We actually just started combining. We had LO2 in the infant tub on our bathroom floor until last week when he really started revolting. He loves being in the big tub with his brother, but he's up and down and slips constantly. He's happier, but we have a little more anxiety! It is far faster doing them together though.

(6, 4 and 2.5 yr old boys) separate unless they all want to take a bubble bath together but that probably last less than 10 minutes before I have to break up the fighting/whining/crying.

I try to combine when possible. Sometimes, DS wants to shower with DH, but if he sees sister getting a bath, 9 out of 10 times, he'll want to "help" so he'll jump in also.
DS is 3yo and DD is 6 months old.

Combined (2 yrs and 4 yrs). Sometimes someone gets an extra shower if they are for some reason really dirty.
Although they're getting a little crazy in the bath these days, and I'm worried someone is going to get hurt....we might need to stop combining soon.

Always combined for my two. Until just recently, my oldest is starting to prefer his own bath since little brother beats up on him, so sometimes I'll let him hop in first.

Almost always together. Unless DH is home, then my oldest will shower with DH.
