What is/was on your list of gear for a 2 year old?
I am getting ready for Spring Garage sales and consignment sales and am looking for new things for my girl to play with.

My son turned 2 in December, and as far as gear goes, I am looking for outdoor play things for him, like a slide, tee ball stand, sand box, water table, big wheel, etc.
I am also looking for a booster seat for the dining table.

@looch: Yes I just remembered that a water table is on my list. Maybe even a small kiddie pool for the summer.
We just got a little slide toy and she LOVES it.

@T.H.O.U.: I also thought of an animal rocker, not a chair, but one they straddle, like a rocking horse...no idea what they are called, but we're looking for that too!
And an easel.

@looch: I thought about a rocking horse and think she would really like it but they take up SO much space.
We really need to identify a good doll house because right now she has 2! One for Little People (original) and one Wood house (no people just furniture).

@T.H.O.U.: I hear you on the size of the rocking animals, they're huge and kind of pointless, once they master it, what do they do with it, right?

Maybe consider a balance bike? A bike like a strider bike, they can start working with around 18 or 20 months.
