If my LO naps every day she's not ready to go to bed for a long time. She can handle skipping a nap some days but not for several days in a row. Do kids start napping every other day or how do you handle it when they've not quite outgrown naps?

Sigh. My 25 month old is down to about 2 naps a week. We still do "quiet time" in her room at naps on the weekend and she is supposed to stay quiet on her cot at daycare, but i am not sure this actually works. The nights with no nap she definitely crashes more quickly while she takes longer to settle on nap days. I would say it is working ok for us except that she often wakes once screaming within a few hours after bedtime on the days she doesn't nap. I don't know if that helps or not...

C still needs a daily nap and he turns 3 in one month. I have no idea when this might change for him but I'm not looking forward to it.
