Our daughter's birthday is coming up and we've had family start asking about gift ideas. Last year we did "activities" vs "stuff" but they all seemed to miss the excitement of her opening. I don't really want a lot of clutter as we are looking to move soon. So, any gift ideas that your child loves that I can share? We have people in the ranges of 20-125. We are getting her a bike so that is covered.

This doesn't help with your idea but our kids have too many toys. So we ask people to donate to either a charity or their 529. Personally my son gets a lot of joy out of just opening cards.

FWIW, this sounds bad but I sell a lot of the toys and put money in their savings account. They have too much stuff.

My daughter definitely likes "stuff" however I don't! She has so many toys, many of which she doesn't play with at all. I go through often and "weed" out the ones she doesn't play with and she still seems to notice!

what about consumable stuff like stickers, colouring books, paint, etc. And i think more books is always a good thing as they don't take up a lot of space. and clothes too.

@LuLu Mom: How about bath stuff/ Bubble bath, colored fizzies, glow sticks (my kids LOVE to put them in the tub and turn off the lights), new fun washcloths

@californiadreams: We do have a ton of art supplies but she is a huge fan so I could get more. I did mention clothes/Pjs to my family, she could use that stuff for this fall/winter.
My mom found a good deal on a swing set and is getting her that, which is awesome.
@Mamaof2: The Easter Bunny just stocked her up on bath stuff, we have a whole drawer full but I do this a lot of other kid's birthdays! who doesn't love a fun bath

She got a few craft kits that she liked. Like a jewelry set and a stained glass set. Still lots of little "stuff".
She also loves sticker books.

What about a subscription to Koala Crate? I started it for DD and she really likes it.
