Ugh no idea but LO will often hold it and I think she is also afraid it is going to her because there have been times where she's held it too long, and yeah, it hurt. Sometimes she goes ok and others not so we have to sit and read to her or do some type of activity to get her to go.

Mine won't poop at preschool, so we prepare for poop at bedtime or in the morning. He occasionally says it hurts, but we do poop hands to have comfort during tough ones. We also talk about pooping is okay to comfort him.
