DS2 is shedding his hair. Every day I come to the nicu his sheets are covered in his hairs. DS1 rubbed a bald spot on the back of his head when he was an infant, but DS2 is losing it from the top also and I don't think he's doing headstands 
did anyone else's LOs do this? His main nurse was a little concerned but the docs are not. Pics are from a month ago, and today, to see the huge difference!

DS rubbed a bald spot on the back of his head, and shed hair all over except for this one patch on the side of his head. He's 5.5 months now, and hair is starting to grow back where his bald spot is.

Love seeing photos of Baby Beaker! My LO lost almost all of his hair around three months too and it's now growing back at 9 months.

Mine lost almost all his hair around that time! Looking at the photos to see the before and after is so strange! In our case it has also started growing back in a different color!

Holy cow he is cute! LO lost a lot of her original hair on top, it doesn't look a whole lot thinner but the long straggly pieces that were her 'original' hair fell out around 3-4 months

Since we're Hindu we do the shaving head thing before babies turn one, so if it's uneven it won't matter in a few months anyway I guess

DD lost almost all of her hair, but it grew back in. At 2, it finally looks normal - haha

C was born with black hair, then it all fell out out and grew in blonde! She had a huge bald spot for a good long time.

Our boys both lost ALL of their hair in the first month or two. They were basically totally bald after that until around Month 6 when it slowly started growing back.

Mine didn't get much hair until 15 months, but at a few months old he definitely lost the majority of what little hair he already had! I think we both started losing hair at the same time.

DS was born with super dark hair. He didn't lose too much in the back but he lost quite a bit on the top! And it all grew back in blonde!

Our pediatrician said balding/hair loss peaks at around 4 months. It happened to our little on around 1 month and finally grew back by 2 months.

I was just looking back at 3-4 month old photos, and he lost a ton of hair around then, as in practically bald! Can't say I ever noticed it coming out, but like I said above- he was never blessed with much hair to begin with

DD was born with tons of dark hair. Every.single.stranger always told me "she's going to lose all her hair, don't worry." She hasn't lost it all, but it is way thinner. She has like a reverse mullet now. Long in the front/top then a big bald line.. then getting long at the bottom. She's a mess haha.
So according to basically every stranger I've ever talked to, it's completely normal to lose all their hair after a few months.

I think it's normal! I didn't notice it at the time, but looking at pictures, I can't believe how bald my son was from about 2 to 4 months!

It was around four months that I walked into her room one day to put her down for her nap and looked at the crib sheet and told my husband that a dog had somehow gotten into our apartment and shed all over the crib. Ha ha ha no. Just her. Let's hope I was just tired and frazzled and that I'm not actually insane.
