I actually don't hate the way it looks (it almost looks like a piece of art), but I would never pay that much for any piece of furniture let alone a crib that my LO will grow out of in a couple of years.

Haha, I actually think it's pretty slick, but I could buy about 25 cribs for that price.

Not my style (it seems bulky?) and definitely not in my price range! Lol

yeahhhh....no. Even if I were super rich, I just couldn't spend 7500 dollars on a crib used for a year or two when other babies in this world live in abject poverty. It's just...awful.

I tend to like contemporary design, but this seemed like some sort of postmodern confinement chamber for the baby that gives me the creeps lol. Maybe it's just my imagination.

@raintreebee: oh I mean, when it comes right down to it, I believe people should be free to spend their money as they want. But for me personally, I would feel like the rich guy in the bible who has less of a chance of getting into heaven than a camel getting through the eye of a needle.

I think it's interesting looking. But I also think $500 for a crib is too much

Even if I had all the money in the world, I guess I just feel like I can do more good with that amount of money.

"hey kid, check out the view from up here"... you can't because of those horrible slats blocking you being able to see out properly!

Oi! I would never pay that much money for a crib even if I could afford it!

It's definitely original! It looks like the sides stick out quite a bit though. I wonder how easy it is to lay down a sleeping babe when the crib is on the lowest setting? I'm not that tall, so I sometimes struggle with our normal, flat-sided crib. I guess if you have that kind of money to throw around on a crib, why not? Even if I could afford it, I would never spend so much money on a piece of furniture with such a short life cycle.

@lamariniere: that's what i thought. that it would be tough to reach the baby.
it's not my style. if i was going to spend a crapload on a crib, i'd get something more random like this: http://www.giggle.com/nursery-decor/cribs-beds/vetro-crib/S1000.html
