@simplyfelicity: Good to hear everything is going well!

Still BOOO on the no ultrasound or doppler

@simplyfelicity: I bet you are just like me...we make the baby house thing look too easy. Girl, I am as symptom-less as it gets. I maaaaybe had some mild food aversion, boob soreness for a day, and that's it. My last pregnancy was the same way. In fact, I mildly freaked out about feeling so good until he started practicing mixed martial arts in there and I got the reassurance of his kicks. I didn't even feel "pregnant" until 8 1/2 months when it was just cumbersome. You're just a lucky bunny.

@Espion: I could totally be eating my words in a couple weeks but not much going on now. Just a little tired and sometimes certain foods don't sound good. Like black coffee, I used to love it! If my doctor isn't too concerned then I guess that's good. Thanks for the reassurance! Sounds like you are doing very well.
@Raindrop: I know! I at least feel better than before. The days before my first ultrasound will likely be pretty nutty with my nerves.

@simplyfelicity: I think you are probably a lucky bunny like @Espion:

I'm weird because I'm super optimistic for other people but when it comes to myself I feel like the worst will always happen! Aka super pessimistic, when I was going through the bleeding issue at 7-9 weeks I was pretty sure I was done for. So I can totally see why you are nervous! But HB is great and so supportive, it really help me get through those tough weeks early on. So we will be here for you if you also get super nervous right before the 12 week scan. Just saying.

@Raindrop: I swear we have the same brain! I am such a worrier and when I get caught up in one of my "worry whirlwinds," I assume the worst. You are such a sweetheart, your support made this pregnant nut tear up.

@simplyfelicity: So glad all looked good today, even though I know you'd feel better if you had heard the heartbeat. Just as reassurance, I didn't hear the heartbeat at just over 9 weeks via doppler (after a successful ultrasound at the end of week 8)--and it was still hard to find at 13 weeks! I have a slightly tilted uterus, so that's part of it, but still. Can't wait to hear your update after you see the little babe in a few weeks!

@simplyfelicity: Hope this helps. Weeks 4-8 I didn't really feel much of anything. NO boob pain, no throwing up, no fatigue (NONE). I sometimes had slight nausea, and sometimes had head aches and a sore lower back, but that was it. I was so worried something was wrong that when I had a dating u/s at 7.5 weeks, I told the doctor I was pretty convinced there was nothing in there. There was, and I'm (very luckily) still preggo now at almost 25 weeks. My doctor reminded me that "no period" is the most important symptom there is . However, if you're stressed to the point of extreme anxiety (and I was getting there!), it's worth asking to see the doctor earlier if you can. For the record, the extreme fatigue so many feel in the beginning (or even throughout the pregnancy) never happened for me, despite almost every other person I've talked to who is or has been pregnant and found that to be a number one symptom. Every pregnancy is different!! Hang in there

@ChiCalGoBee: Thank you for your support and advice! I really appreciate it! I have been feeling morning sickness here and there for the last couple days and, though I don't have every symptom in the book, when I compare myself to not being pregnant, I do feel different. DH says I am definitely different, hahaha. It's going to be a long four weeks until our first ultrasound but no "period" like you said. Thanks again.

My gramma told me recently she "wasn't sick a day" in all 4 of her pregnancies!!!! I was definitely jealous! Hopefully you are one of the "lucky" ones like her!!!

@simplyfelicity: I really only had sore boobs and increased hunger with my first son. And my best friends only pregnancy symptom with any of her pregnancies (3) was baby kicking! I bet you are just fine

Just read through this to make sure I'm "normal" (well, relatively speaking, LOL!)!

@LindsayInNY: Unfortunately, my pregnancy didn't work out but it seems like you can have no symptoms and still have a healthy pregnancy.

Aside from bloating like nobody's business, I had no symptoms that early. I didn't have many symptoms at all until the end. Then it was just that I was soooo huge. Try not to worry to much (easier said than done, I know)! Congrats!

@simplyfelicity: Sorry - that's the problem with bumping an older post instead of starting a duplicate one
