This company offers various around the world trips for $90k in less than 1 month. This includes airfare (on a private plane), hotel (always Four Seasons), food, tips, baggage fee, etc.
If you had the money and enough PTO days, would you go/do it? If not, why?

Sounds like the trip of a lifetime. I probably wouldn't do it though since I would want to spend more than 2-3 days in each country. If I had the money/time off, I'd rather travel for 2-3 weeks each year, every year and see all of those travel destinations.

If I had an extra 90K laying around, I'd plan my own trip around the world that would last far longer than a month. I'd rather stay in little local hotels and stay longer or see more countries.

No. I'd love to go a trip like that, but for $90k you could take much longer and still live in style.

I think it totally depends on your personal travel style. I have friends who would totally love that type of trip- a few days here, then on to the next place.
I would probably enjoy the first week of that trip- and then would be miserable the rest of the time, feeling like I were on some kind of forced march! But I prefer to travel slowly, spending time in each place, seeing the more out of the way destinations in each location. I'm totally fine with seeing fewer places, but being able to see each place I do go in more depth.
I'm also not a huge fan of organized tours. On my own, I tend to get horribly lost and stranded in random small towns the world over, left to find my own way out, but I always get a great story out of it!

@Mrs. Blue: I agree! We're not huge at all about "luxury" travel. I'm sure I could plan a trip that would be longer and see more than this one with a fraction of that 90k.

This is so my friend!!!!! We travel with her every year and she always gets us into these predicaments that may or may not be life threatening. Scary at the moment, but after the trip - hilarious stories to retell. LOL!!

If $90,000 was just a drop in the bucket.. absolutely! I love doing tours every now and then! You always learn these little secrets about the places and get a feel for places that you'd like to go back to for longer next time. If $90,000 was still do-able but not just a 'drop in the bucket' then I'd probably plan my own trip that focused on my bucket list more.

haha consider they're using a private jet - it is definitely possible to do it for less money while seeing more places! I'd take the 90k and visit an additional 10 places at least and extend it another few months.

No, I really don't like tours and compressed timelines on someone else's schedule! I'd take that $90k and plan my own luxurious vacay!

I think I could go on a better vacation for 90k. Of course they plan everything and book everything, so that's part of where that money goes.

Nope! Traveling ”first class” is not my style-I could go around the world for a lot less than 90k, and see real places, eat authentic food, chat with local residents, etc.
