So, ever since LO started solids three months ago, her poops have been solid logs/turds. But for some reason, her last two poops (last night and just now) have been watery like EBF poops.
Her meals have been the same...
Should I be worried?

I remember when we first started solids, we would get those runny poops from time to time too. I asked my ped about it and she said that as long as we don't see blood streaks in it (which could be a warning sign of food allergies), it should be ok. Their tummies are getting used to digesting different kinds of foods so their digestive tracts act funny from time to time. We were told to feed him bananas (to solidify it) and if it didn't go away, to call her. It went away after 2 days. Maybe try feeding some bananas?

Maybe her tummy is just a little upset. I would just keep her well hydrated and give her bananas, apples, rice, and toast to firm up her poops. If she had a stomach bug, she would probably be pooping more so hopefully it isn't that.

We had that when we had a stomach bug. Wash your hands like crazy, hers too. I also did the BRAT diet and lots of water. Took about a week to get back to normal, so I hope it's not that!

Wagon Jr.'s poops have always been pretty runny. He's prone to diaper rash because of it (so safeguard against rash!!!). We did the BRATY diet (bananas, rice cereal, applesauce, toast, yogurt) many many many weeks along the way because I thought he had diarrhea. You'll know when it's diarrhea because it'll look like they didn't even poop at all-- it's so watery that the diaper soaks up all the liquid and all that's left is just brown streaks in the diaper. So sad
Along this road I discovered what's called "toddler diarrhea"-- diarrhea for absolutely no reason in toddlers. Nice.

@mrs. wagon: My heart just skipped a beat because your description of baby diarrhea is exactly what LO had the other day. I wonder what's causing it...I'm starting to get stressed out.

@Rubies: awww could be a stomach bug, or maybe she's not tolerating something. Try the BRATY diet for a few days and see if the poops firm up.

@mrs. wagon: OMG, I just woke up from a nap and I totally had a dream about you telling me to give LO the BRATY diet. We were in a playroom and RJ was playing with darts (?) and your new LO was already born also playing with darts (again, ?)...But we were on a couch and you were telling me to give my LO more bananas...And you pulled one out from your purse. It felt so real!

I know M had diarrhea once but I don't remember when! Give your pediatrician a call if you're worried and if she's still having runny poops!
Ugh. Who knew poop could be so stressful, right?!

@Rubies: LOL!!! I love it!!! darts and bananas.
Wagon Jr. eats 1.5 bananas a day so me pulling a banana out of my purse to offer you would not be so strange.

@mrs. wagon: After I woke up from my nap, which is when LO woke up from hers, I changed her diaper and she had pooed a great big turd. I was so happy and relieved!

@Rubies: HURRAYYYYY!!!!!
To this day we STILL check in with each other about the state of Wagon Jr's poops. We're so happy when it's a turd and not a pile or puddle.

@Rubies: Glad your LO is feeling better! I was just thinking how funny she'll think this post is in twenty years.
