1) if you have the space go for it!!! I think that sounds awesome.

2) I would say 4-6 weeks which is my typical window for an invite-event

3) We did paper. A little more formal. IMO I don't like evites BUT if budget is a concern then I'd go that route. There are some more classy ones through paperless post, or you could still buy a design off Etsy and send everyone the image!

1) as long as the invite is clear that your mom and friend are hosting I think it's totally fine to have it at your house.

2) we sent invites 4 weeks before the shower and the RSVP date was 1 week before the shower.

3) I personally prefer a paper invite for a shower but if you have a predominantly younger/tech savvy guest lists I think evites are ok.

I would go for paper! I think people take things more seriously when it's not done on an evite. Definitely send them out at least a month in advance.

1) Heck yeah, will make it easier for you not having to lug gifts back. But I would make them come over the day before and clean, set up everything and then clean up afterwards.
2) I usually do 4-5 weeks since I know people's schedules fill up so fast.
3) Paper. This way you get one to keep. If you are worried about people not RSVPing, you can always do regrets only. Or give the option for people to call or email with their RSVP.

Since it will be at your home you could assemble the crib and place bunting on it and gifts inside. Just some decor stuff to think about.

2. 4 weeks should be fine.

3. Paper invites are soo cute, but I think e-vites are easier on the hosts for getting a head count. People are really anti-social and would rather text, email, accept/decline online instead of calling a host.

If you do e-vites, make sure to remember to print a copy for the baby book

1. I think at your house is totally fine as long as the hostesses are clearly noted on the invite.

2. I think about 6 weeks is good.

3. I love a paper invite and my sister made all my shower invites. Loved them and got a bunch of comments on them. For my BFFs baby shower, she didn't really want to get everyone's addresses for me and most of her family just wanted to do everything via email and phone calls so that's what happened. I think paper is nicer though...
