Now that more people around me are having their first and second (and third, and fourth, and even a fifth!) babies, I'm starting to hear about really devastating birth defects and abnormalities. It makes me feel really stupid about complaining about the little things. My babies are so healthy, their biggest problem is being too fat for their clothes.

I said it once, I'll say it a million and one times... a healthy baby is a miracle. I mean, all babies are miracles, of course, but to not have to worry about massive health problems is an incredible blessing. I'm a lucky, lucky momma.
