@dc yoga bee: My husband is the same way...complains we don't do it enough when we weren't TTC but now complains about having to do it more. Psh, men.

Before you call in the Snipers, allow me to say I've never seen Elf. I think I need to do breakfast for dinner with my kids this week and watch it with them by the fire. I think they would love it!
I keep hearing about this preseed; looks like it does the job in more ways than one

@MartinisandOnesies: Congratulations!!! (Do you read MODG?)
@dc yoga bee: Like I said yesterday, your body can gear up to O and then not... I know a lot of girls who use the CB monitor get multiple smileys at weird times. Plus, if it's only cycle #2 (and I really don't mean that to say "only," but you know what I mean...), your body could still be regulating. It took me a few months of TTC to O on a "normal" day each cycle.
@littlek: So glad you are covering your bases! Can you please add me to the TBD list? I am 90% sure I am a no-go this cycle, but I'll start POAS around December 11th anyway.

@septca: I'm sorry what's MODG? Should I check it out? And thank you for your congrats!

My husband also hates preseed. I only use it internally now.
Favorite Christmas movie: White Christmas, hands down. We always watched it in front of the fire with hot chocolate at my grandma's house when I was a kid, so it is more tradition than anything.
Can someone please explain to what the heck SMEP is???

my favorite holiday movies are all the sappy rom-coms.
Love Actually

@MartinisandOnesies: Ha ha. It's a crazy/hilarious mommy blog called "Martinis or Diaper Genies," written by one of my friend's sorority sisters. She has two (adorable) kids now, but she started the blog as a way to explore whether she wanted to start a family or keep drinking. I thought, because of your name, you might be a fan.
Also - do you know how far along you are? I am at high risk for EPs, so I had an u/s at exactly 5 weeks with DD to make sure the pregnancy was interuterine. It was too early for a heartbeat (saw that the next week), but it was early enough to see that the sac was in the right place...

@septca: SMEP is the Sperm Meet Egg Plan. I used to LOVE MODG...but she hasn't been posting much lately

@septca: I've never been on birth control, so I'd think my body is regulated. I hope lol!!

It sounds stupid but this screwy cycle is giving me hope. When I got pregnant with B, we had sex WAY before I thought I was going to ovulate and we got B... so fingers crossed for magic again

@dc yoga bee: Haha I think I create enough of my own stuff once things get poppin down there so when I first tried it and used the 2.5g it was like a slip n slide! I was like "Okay, let's take a second to regroup because I feel like you're pretty much just standing behind me." Sorry for the TMI lol I'm gonna use 0.5g if this cycle is a bust.

@Mrs.Panda: Hahahaha i just spit my tea out! See i produce a lot but I take strong allergy meds everyday so it tends to dry it up! I lurve preseed!! Hopefully it will help keep some swimmers up there!

@Mrs.Panda: Oh oh, I forgot to add in reference to the cavernous vagina allegation- yoga yoga yoga! It really keeps things tight and, in place down there T

@dc yoga bee: I used to do yoga a lot, though nothing too advanced. I look awkward as hell and am not ashamed to say I have face planted a few times, but I really should get back into it. I do kegels and usually don't have a problem with the friction, it's only with that dang Preseed! I was on Clomid this cycle though, so I took it to counteract the dryness that people were reporting. I think maybe I don't have that issue haha. DH would be happier if I used it on the door hinges than on myself.

@Mrs.Panda: You are too funny!!! I would love to hang out with you!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: Haha thanks, you ain't too bad yourself! It doesn't help that every time I read your user name I say "DC yoga pants". Or yogurt pants, as DH likes to call them. Because he thinks they are hot. And he is obviously a disgusting 16 year old boy.

@MartinisandOnesies: Congrats! Sending lots of sticky good vibes your way!
@littlek: so glad to hear your OPK is lighter today! At least now you have a sort of answer and didn't waste money on a HPT (as much as we all wanted you to!)
@MrsScottish: your symptoms sound really promising, keeping my FX for you!
@dc yoga bee: LOL at your DH 'taking one for the team'!
@Mrs.Panda: Gah! I've been temping multiple times a night too, and it is messing with my head. The night before last my temp was 98,0 when I got up to pee at 4am, then when I randomly woke up at 7am because I was cold (didn't get out of bed, just temped and pulled on the covers) it was 97.5, then when I actually woke up for the day at 9am it was at 98,0 again. So annoying! But I can't help myself in temping more than once sometimes, especially when I wake up cold.
@littlek: My favorite movie is a tie between A Christmas Story and Love Actually
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: I love them! I need to invest in some new ones,m but I feel like such a poser since I haven't done yoga in forEVAR. I think I will do some after my 3 shifts this week. I can't workout at all when I work because I'm already on my feet for the better part of 12 hours and it takes me an hour just to get there. Not much time for sleeping, let alone working out!
@Sprite: glad to know I'm not the only one who temps a bunch. Do you take your morning one or do you use your lowest temp?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Mrs.Panda: "cavernous vag" and slip and slide... you are too much, lady!!

My favorite holiday movie is Christmas Story! I watch it every year. "You'll shoot your eye out!"
kiwi / 693 posts
@Mrs.Panda: Well, I always write down the different temps in the notes section. But yesterday I counted the higher 98,0 reading, since I got it twice and I suspect being cold gave me the lower temp in the middle. Today I had 97.7 at my normal temp time (although my arm was out from under the blankets and I felt cold) and then 98.0 at wake up. I charted the lower temp today though, since it was at my normal temp time, and I kind of suspect AF to show up tomorrow with the cramping I've had yesterday, so it would make sense. Maybe I need to turn the heat up in my bedroom though, with all these inconsistent temps!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@MrsMcD:
@Sprite: yeah, I wrote down my temps too for the other day and it was kind of crucial because it would tell when or if I O'd. Oh well, I guess we'll find out eventually!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Sprite: I stopped temping because I had issues getting the 3 hour sleep requirement and I also woke up at inconsistent times.

@MrsMCD: Very true! I actually have felt more pregnant waiting on AF to show up than I did when I actually was PG with DS almost 6 years ago! As for the caps, WTH is up with my phone? It automatically capitalizes the beginning of each word when I log in from my phone. Annoying.
@Mrs.Panda: HAHAHA!!! I so needed the laughs. Took me a minute @ "You're standing behind me" LOL!!!!
Why am I dreading testing day??? I'm so anxious and my tummy is very unsettled. I can hardly sleep the last two nights. I HATE feeling anxious. Need to snap out of this funk!

Question for all of you: I have an annual with my MW on December 11th, which will be 9 DPO. I made the appointment as kind of a pre-conception visit, never thinking I would actually O this month.
Should I cancel/reschedule it? I feel really dumb going in and being like, well I *might* (but probably not) be KU so can you not do all the tests you normally would?

1. This thread is hysterical this month
2. We LOVE preseed, it's a MUST for all this on demand horizontal mambo
3. Does it mean that I spend way too much time on hellobee both on and offline when DH requests the "JHo" position by name. It cracks me up every time he says it.
4. Keeping up with SMEP is haaaaaaaard you guys - I'm exhausted lol
5. Love Actually, Elf and White Christmas are my faves
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@organicmama: I always dread testing day! Now that I'm in my 7th month TTC, I don't even know if I will test early. Will you test tomorrow or just wait for AF to show or not?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@cmbknyc: I'm saving our J. Ho position for this friday... We have DH's holiday party and I've got a sexy dress picked out..
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@organicmama: I didn't test last month.. so I never saw a but I had an epic meltdown when AF showed.. both suck
nectarine / 2358 posts
@organicmama: I was wondering if that would get lost in tranlation but I guess not lol. And I totally would dread test day, but I love it as an outsider looking in at others! Especially if I don't have to pay for the HPTs haha.
@septca: I don't see the harm in going, but if you are uncomfortable you could always reschedule. Doesn't hurt either way

@littlek: nice bowchikawowow
@princessbaby: is a legend in our home lol - that probably sounds creepy lol
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@cmbknyc: JHo would think that was fabulous!! About 12 months into both our TTC journeys, we met up and drank about 2 bottles of wine between us. We each got KU shortly thereafter, so she is a legend in our house, too. If TTC #2 takes a while, we probably need to have another drunken cry fest.
