@dc yoga bee: For hospital info and doctor recs (not to mention childcare info), you should check out DCUM. The people are *ruthless* but it's a good source of DC area info.

@septca: DCUM, where normal people turn into monsters. That place is crazy.

Holy cow! I have been in a meeting all day, and popped into hello bee on our break!! I just read through 3 pages!!
Nope didn't test today but my dh sent me a text saying that he is going to buy the most sensitive and expensive test this afternoon. I have been banned from peeing for the rest of the afternoon. Ha ha. I think he is as frustrated as me. I think I will wait till the morning to try it. He bought a digital.

@dc yoga bee: My two cents about FSA - make sure you pick an amount you can spend because it doesn't roll over. It's a use it or lose it situation.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@MrsScottish: (I just read through the first page to see where you were in your cycle - is 12/13 DPO right? My comment is based on that...) Don't be too discouraged if you get a on a digital test. I got my BFP at 10 DPO, but it didn't show up on an digital until 15 DPO.
persimmon / 1259 posts
@MrsScottish: Fx for you! But as @Septca said, don't get too discouraged if it's tomorrow. You're not out until AF shows...and I'm hoping she stays away from you!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@LindsayInNY: I wanted to do $100 but min is $250, so I did that.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I don't know if anyone answered but I had my annual scheduled and got my bfp about a week before my annual. She still did it with a panel of bloodwork along with it.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@dc yoga bee: You will use $250, no problem. There is a huge list of items you can use your FSA for on their website, including band-aids, personal care items, all kinds of stuff.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: Not gonna lie, I had to Google what lululemon was and gooooollllyyyyyyy lol. I usually buy my work out clothes (I say usually like I ever buy them) from Old Navy or Target. This lady is ballin on a budget! Lol. But they are super cute! We all have our vices, I can drop that kind of cash on handbags. Just thinking about it puts some sweat on my upper lip. *swoon*
All you cool kids live all the way up there near DC I'm all by my lonesome down in Florida, where if it is insane and on the news, it most likely happened here.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@LindsayInNY: Actually there is a law change with FSA. Effective 2014, Dept of Treasury has modified the "use or lose it" provision allowing participants to roll over $500 of unused funds at teh end of the plan.
bananas / 9229 posts
@littlek: I thought that was an option that employers/health plans (whoever decides) could choose to do. We just re-enrolled and it clearly stated that it did not roll over for the following year.
@septca: I think they've cracked down on using FSA for a lot of OTC items. You use to be able to use it on almost anything!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Mrs.Panda: Lululemon is the best thing ever. Seriously. I would pay double. I live in these things. I even bought a pair of pants one size up for when I was pregnant - and then barely took those things off the first few weeks pp.
But, I have been oddly impressed by the new line of workout gear from Old Navy. Their maternity stuff is especially good (just you know, in case anyone here is interested in that sort of thing... ).
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@LindsayInNY: I trust you - you can be our FSA advisor.
BTW - does your chart still have the dummy temp on CD19? Because I am really still thinking CD20 (I just looked at your chart, obv.).

@septca: I worked in the pharmacy at CVS when FSA first came out a billion years ago. Okay, maybe 10-15 years ago? (Yikes) Back then, you could use FSA for SO much - over the counter medication, bandaids, diapers, I think even tampons. We would tell people to just stock up at the end of the year to use it! Now they're so strict.
ETA: Yeah, CD19 is still the fake temp. If I remove it, FF puts crosshairs at CD18 which I know is not the case. I'm inclined to believe it's CD20 too...

@septca: double you say? I will have to check this stuff out. And hopefully talk DH into letting me get some lol

@MartinisandOnesies: Congrats!
@Littlebit: I didn't know you lived there. I lived in Richmond for a few years, then DH stayed there and we were long distance for a few years. Love and miss that city! My username evolved from a previous username from our long distance days, but it is in reference to many awful hours on I64. I'm in Norfolk now.

I found pre-seed!! I got so excited!! I thought I would have to get it when we head to the states over the Christmas break!! I wasn't going to get it but my DH grabbed it off the shelf and threw it in the cart! He wants to go try it......

So confused! Last month I started spotting (brown) about 5 days prior to AF. This month NOTHING. Like, nada. Nothing down there at all. I should start tomorrow. Actually today is CD 30 and my cycles go from 29 - 31 days. And I'm crampy!!! But too whiny and lazy to go out and buy a test. Since I vowed not to google this cycle, I thought I'd share my "symptoms" with y'all bees If I don't start tomorrow, I will take a test on Fri a.m. There. I'm committed now.
clementine / 838 posts
@organicmama: I am in the same spot!! My AF should show tomorrow or Friday. Cycle day 26 or 27. No symptoms of her coming either. No positive yet either.

@MsLipGloss: :). I had to google that.
Mr. Scottish approves of pre-seed

@mrsscottish: It's like the calm before the storm. LOL!
I remember when I got pg with DS and I was 5 days late and went in to work and told my (female) boss how crampy I was and how huge my boobs were (okay, we were friends before she became my boss!) Anywho, she, who had had four children already, said "HELLO. Cramps are a sign of pregnancy." So off to Google I ran to prove her wrong. But she was right. And I was PG! I seriously wish it were that easy again!
