@stratosphere: congrats I see a good line on the wondfo and a faint line on the FRER so your doc should definitely be able to tell you the good news tomorrow and if you did decide to test again the line should be darker by tomorrow
@kodybear: congrats!

@dc yoga bee: LOL....you're not creepy at all! Althought that did make me laugh. I'm just feeling a little defeated this month and another late O date (CD19) makes me less hopeful for a BFP. I just get nervous a late O date will affect the quality of the egg and I'll end up with another MC.

@whatsarahsaid: I got a positive OPK on CD18 on my cycle that gave me LO. don't give up yet!!!
@stratosphere: @kodybear: great to see some BFPS on here!
I like most holiday drinks but maybe my favorite is baileys on ice? I also have an odd love for "Seasonal Nog" (Silk soymilk eggnog - I don't even drink soymilk otherwise but I like the spices in it).

@stratosphere: @kodybear: Congratulations!!!
I definitely see the line on the Wondfo, btw. AND I think Wondfos are more sensitive than FRERs (ducking) - my first BFP (at 10 DPO) was much more apparent on the W than on the F.

@whatsarahsaid: my O date on the cycle I got pregnant with this one was CD 22!

I took that Wondfo photo about 7 minutes after POAS. By the time I left for work it was about 45 minutes later and it definitely had gotten a little darker in that time.
@septca: Thanks for that encouragement!! I know it's kind of crazy that my Wondfo is clearer than my FRER--but the FRER does indeed have a faint line in real life (and it got *slightly* darker after I photographed it, which was about 5 min after POAS).
Now I have to get through the next 18 hours before my doctor's appointment and try to focus at work!
Do you think they can/will do a blood test at a GP's office? Should I ask for that? Or will I just PIAC (pee in a cup!) at the doctor's office and they basically use a Wondfo there?
bananas / 9229 posts
@whatsarahsaid: Ditto what @bhbee: said kinda! I always O late, that's just how my cycle is. Doesn't mean the egg is any better or worse off!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@stratosphere: I think it depends on your doctor's office. Mine just does a PIAC to confirm pregnancy and doesn't do a blood test, but I know other offices do blood tests!

I've been meaning to ask where do y'all get the Wondfos from? I am missing out!
I'm starting to get nervous. CD 31, still no AF and the day is half over! I'm definitely getting a HPT tonight to take in the a.m.

@stratosphere: Any doctor's office *can* do a blood test for you, and your insurance likely covers it (mine did, but I don't know your plan), SO ASK. And if they say no and you *really* want it, push back. I had to push for my betas, but I am glad I did. Having blood results gives you more security, IMO.

@organicmama: Amazon. Super cheap. I usually buy OPKs and HPTs together - I think it's 75 OPKs and 25 HPTs for, like, $7. It's absurd.

@organicmama: I ordered my wondfo's from Amazon. I just wish I had discovered them earlier after wasting so much $ on drugstore preg tests!!

@kodybear: congrats!
@stratosphere: I got my positive at 10DPO and went in the next day to confirm at doctors. They did another HPT and the nurse was like " well I am pretty sure you're pregnant but it's really light so you must be early." I told her it was only day 11 and she looked at me funny. Apparently most people don't test as early as us bees! I do see a line on the wondfo!

@organicmama: I am in the same boat! I just sent a frustrated text to my DH! I just want an answer...

@delight: I honestly never heard of testing before a missed period until I joined the bee.
bananas / 9229 posts
@organicmama: The first round I bought on Amazon - OPKs only for $15 or so (I can't remember how many OPKs - maybe 50?). The second round they were cheaper on eBay - 40 OPKs and 10 HPTs for $17 or so.
clementine / 838 posts
they are so much cheaper for you americans!! amazon.ca is expensive!
apricot / 329 posts
@Adira: @littlek: @septca: @delight: Thanks ladies! Armed with that info I will demand a blood test, even though it'll be just 11 DPO tomorrow. I guess we could check betas with a second test on Monday. I have pretty great insurance typically so it should be covered. I haven't met my deductible for this year yet anyway (my company's plan year starts in Oct) so I'll be paying for it anyway!
Also, @kodybear: congratulations!!!
@organicmama: I got my Wondfo HPTs on Amazon along with OPKs. I got this combined pack: http://www.amazon.com/Combo-Ovulation-Pregnancy-Test-Strips/dp/B0026995KO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1386275786&sr=8-2&keywords=wondfo
But you can also order them separately--looks like they're about $15 for 25 right now (and free shipping if you're a Prime member).

Thanks! Amazon it is then. Of course I'll wait to order after my test in the a.m. Fingers crossed!!!

@runnerd: Aw, thanks for lending your eyes too!
I had heavy spotting two days ago, at 8 DPO, which almost stopped yesterday. I got super discouraged about that and thought I was out and even had a little glass of wine with dinner that night (two nights ago)... But I have been feeling on and off nausea for the past few days as well, so on the crazy train I tested yesterday morning and definitely got a stark BFN on Wondfo. Combined with that my temperature dipped yesterday and I was sure I was out. But I've also been feeling faint faint cramp-like sensations, which I've never felt. So I tested again this morning, just because of the nausea and that weird faint cramping sensation.
And my temp jumped back up this morning...so maybe yesterday's low temp was an implantation dip? I just learned about that possibility on FertilityFriend. Either way I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I get a "real" tomorrow.

@kodybear: @stratosphere: congrats mamas!!
Let's keep that BP list growing ladies!!

@organicmama: you know, I do have Wondfos but I just bought this brand from Amazon called Babi for OPKs and I like them much better. They seem to give more definitive results for me than the Wondfos and I haven't had one yet with a weird streaky "wtf" line yet. They are similarly priced so I would say yes those! Good Luck In the am!

@littlek: I love your new avatar, such a cutie!!! I O'd late this month at CD18 so my new POAS date is 12/20 - sigh

@whatsarahsaid: right there with you lady, I O'd late this time as well and freaking out about the exact same thing...sigh. I googled and supposably it's fine so we'll see. Also, I love the new social media links, stalkers unite. I am a MAJOR pinterest addict.

@littlek: I haven't ever heard of early POAS testing either. I am slowly giving up that practice. I just want to test if I actually missed the period.... but its hard to do!
