Okay @littlek: here's your early POAS update: Today is 9 DPO and I tested on a Wondfo because I had my annual* this morning. There was definitely something there (?!?!?!?!!!!), but it was super light so possibly an evap (although it was there within the test window). Tested again with SMU - nothing. So... I cautiously told my MW the situation and she ordered a beta. I'll test again tomorrow, but we'll know either way by the bloodwork. (I am not getting my hopes up though - it would just be too weird to TTC #1 for more than a year and then get KU before I even had a period, with BD only at O-3 and O-1, when I *probably* O'ed on the wrong side.)
Long story short: We'll know tomorrow.
*For those who followed my earlier query - my annual was exactly the same as normal, except no pap (I only have to get them every 5 years because I am over 30 and have never had an abnormal result).

@littlek: She said she'd email me tomorrow with the results. It usually takes about 24 hours at that lab.

@spaniellove Thanks! I ended up talking to the doctor who was great about soothing my concerns We've decided to go ahead with the IUI on Friday despite having four large follicles and one tiny one that probably doesn't contain an egg but still possibly might. If multiples were to happen we will selectively reduce down to two.
@littlek can you switch me to the 27th when you get a chance, please?

@septca: Gahhh, I'm so excited for you!!!! Can't wait to hear the results!!! Good luck!!!

@however briefly: That's great news! If you end up with multiples, you should "wall" Mrs.GreenGrass.

@littlek: Can you switch me to 12/23? Really I should wait until 12/24 but I don't want to think about waiting that long. The 23rd will be 12 DPO for me.

Everyone has been really quiet today! We had our office holiday party, so I'm home early

@dc yoga bee: it has been quiet! I'm getting ready to leave work now. Have a bunch of errands to run. Feeling really bummed about my temps dropping and coming to terms with probably hitting the 6 month mark of trying

@dc yoga bee: i've been reading the posts just not posting!
@Littlebit: this is why i don't like temping in the tww (if i had been temping to confirm o) bc it's really anxiety inducing and every dip and rise makes you so emotional! What dpo are you today?
I'm at 10 dpo today and feeling nothing different. Maybe my boobs are sore, but thats not an indication of anything really. But, i DID call my dr to ask her to put in an rx for clomid (we had already discussed this before i got my surprise (and failed) BFP) just to prepare myself for the next cycle, so that made me feel a lot better!

@gksj: that's when my I date is predicted at well, and we are having family stay with us! Not ideal!

@septca: Good luck!
@littlek: Can you move my test day to Monday? I thought this Friday was 10Dpo, but its 9 and that's just too early. Now that I'm actually getting close I'm wimping out. I still have minor cramps and my temps look good, but I just don't want to see that negative. My LP used to be 12 to 13 days so I'm just going to use that benchmark to go on.
@chibee: I'm glad you have a plan in place if you need it (I hope you don't!!!!)

@chibee: fingers crossed for you!
@Littlebit: you're not out yet!

@Littlebit: you're not out until AF rears her ugly head! How long is your LP usually?

Anyone have sex twice a day once they get a positive opk? I know it goes against all reason, but it got my positive smiley this morning, and a positive smiley this afternoon. We had sex this morning, and I'm trying to decide should we bd again tonight, or just tomorrow and the next day.

@dc yoga bee: I've read that overdoing it doesn't really help because it'll kill his sperm count. He needs some time to make some more, apparently?
pomelo / 5607 posts
Also, what color packets are ya'll's wondfos? Last time I bought them they were pink, but this time they're purple. And they say on the instructions that they're for "in vitro use only." What does that even mean? I'm not doing IVF? I can't go on amazon and read the product description to make sure they're right, because DH ordered most of my Christmas gifts off there so if I go in our purchase history I'll see them!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@dc yoga bee: you want to stick with once a day. You need quality over quantity in the sperm school. I like using Instead cups to keep everything from falling out so each BD really counts.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@littlek: @septca: I think I'll get DH to send me the link to exactly what I bought when he gets home. I don't want to spoil any Christmas surprises, but I also don't want to have the wrong tests or something!
nectarine / 2936 posts
@Torchwood: I bought some off amazon maybe 7 months ago and then reordered the exact same thing this past month with the "order more" button. My old wrappers were pink for HCG and blue for LH and this time the wrappers are all white with either a little pink or blue. It freaked me out but they appear to be the exact same test.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@mrs. 64: So weird. I guess I'll assume they're the same?
Though for what it's worth, I googled the in vitro use only bit on the instructions, and it sounds like it just means you can't put them in the urine stream, you have to use a cup. Which I do anyway, *obviously*, because you have to save the pee for retesting if you get uncertain results, duh!

@dc yoga bee: If you could do all those days then I'd say great, BUT, if there's a chance that a second time today would mean DH wouldn't want to tomorrow/next day then skip tonight.

@Torchwood: I also had different packaging from two different orders. As long as the strips say LH, you're fine!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@littlek: it's like the Diva Cup, but disposable. You stick it up your vag after doing the deed - keeps all the sperm right at the cervix. Like holding your legs in the air for 20 minutes, but much less awkward.
@Torchwood: Show me a woman who can pee accurately on that little thing...

@LindsayInNY: I assume (hope?) you mean hcg, right, not lh? You're making me question myself, but lh is the opk's, right?
@septca: No kidding!
