Do you guys have a poas routine? I usually wipe to check cm or for spotting, pee in a cup, double check for spotting and then open the test and dip. A friend suggested I always use a cup in case I want to retest and it has come in handy on a few occasions.
@Sprite: Boo! That seems like progress though so at least you have a silver lining.

@Sprite: Boo for AF but woo for progesterone!! This is my second cycle taking/using them. I had a decent LP before but spotting pre-AF. I'm not use to such a long LP now though. It's kinda annoying!

@littlek: can you move my test date to the 13th? It's DH's birthday and also the day AF is due. If my temp doesn't plummet before then he wants me to wait until his birthday to test.

First cycle using OPKs, and they are kind of taking their time turning up a positive. I guess I'd been assuming I ovulated mid-month on CD 14! Oh well, CM is looking like EW so it'll probably be soon. We'll keep doing what we do.

@Cole: thanks, girl. He is SO sure I'm going to pregnant again quickly. Like doesn't have a single doubt in his mind. I'm scared he's in for a big let down, but trying to stay positive!

@Littlebit: I pay $12.98 at Walmart! I'm not too far from you too! Bahumbug lol!
@Sprite: I'm sorry

Thanks for the all the kind words ladies. I know I am being a big baby about it considering how long so many people struggle.
Hopefully all our baby dreams come true in the new year!

@PawPrints: Keep at it! I have a really regular cycle, but have never O'ed before CD17. This month was CD29, but that's just because I was coming off of a very strong dose of hormonal BCP.

@Littlebit: I get that, the first two months my husband kept telling me it was going to take awhile etc. but this month he has been saying this is it since pre-o. The other day he asked if we were still in it for this month and at that point I was only like 7dpo. It would be a great birthday present though! It is silly but each month I have been thinking about what special events a bfp or telling our families or the birth would coincide with and it makes me so excited.

I just started spotting, I feel totally gutted. I feel so incompetent or something. I know there is still a shot but it is pretty slim and I am not really holding my breath.
grapefruit / 4649 posts
@Kate6214: I appreciate it but tomorrow will be 12dpo so it would be really late and it isn't unheard of for me to start spotting at 11dpo.

Officially a rollover. Apparently I am just sick on top of it all! Bleh.
And this progesterone is no joke. AF gives me no warning - no cramps, spotting, nothing. She doesn't gently knock on my door. No, she blows it down with one of those Swat ramming rods. Geez!
ETA - I'm optimistic for these next two cycles. One would give me an anniversary due date and the other on DH's birthday.

@chibee: I debated it until I got out of bed and exclaimed to DH that I needed the bathroom ASAP since AF arrived. What fun.

I just have to say, I don't know how you late testers do it. I'm 10dpo and ITCHING to test. I'm proud of myself though, I've tested at 10dpo every cycle so far but didn't today. Just need to make it until Friday o.O Though my temps aren't looking promising already, so who knows if I'll even test this month.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Littlebit: LOL. I tested this morning at 8 DPO. Bfn, obviously. I just can't seem to help myself.

I'm feeling a little crampy today... I'm guessing that AF is going to show up in the next day or two, so I'm trying to save the test. Spent a fortune on tests last pregnancy!

@Littlebit: Usually it kills me, but I seriously doubt this is the month, so now I have zero desire to that stupid BFN

@Littlebit: I have no idea when I'm going to test this month. I'm either 7 DPO or about to ovulate.

@swurlygurl: @babypie: @LindsayInNY: @Cole: ((hugs))
@septca: I started testing last month at 7dpo! I spent over $40 bucks on tests. I'm waiting until 1 day late this time!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@septca: What is the earliest you got a BFP? I've never tested early before...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@littlek: 10 DPO. I tested at 8 - nothing. Skipped 9. At 10, there was a faint line on a Wondfo and FRER. My beta that day was only a ten (anything 5 or less is a bfn), so it was REALLY EARLY (prob implanted at 9 DPO). I don't get bummed until 13 DPO. By that point, I think I'd see something (my LP is always 14-15 days).
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@septca: Are you going to skip 9DPO and go for it at 10 DPO? Fingers crosssed for you! We need some more BFP on this thread.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@littlek: ha ha, no I am going to test tomorrow (at 9 DPO) bc I have my annual tomorrow. I *really* doubt I am KU this cycle bc I am 90% sure (okay, maybe 75%) that I O'ed on the left, which is my blocked tube side. Honestly, I'm just soooooo glad that my cycle is back (I went off my endometriosis-suppressing BCP at the beginning of Nov, never had a withdrawal bleed, and O'ed at CD29 (counting the day I stopped the meds as CD1). I have an HSG scheduled at the start of next cycle if this one is a no go.
