Night shift REALLY puts a damper on TTC!!! I am so scared that I am ovulating now and we cant bd til tomorrow night. That will be too late for bd. I want to leave work and go home and bd and come back. Ugh!
eggplant / 11408 posts
@fotolori1: that may not be too late-can't eggs live for 24 hours?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@fotolori1: you usually have a day or two when you get a positive OPK. I hope you catch the surge! did you BD leading up to this? sperm can live up to 5 days so you may be covered even if you miss ovulation. all it takes is one sperm to meet that egg! FX for you!

Today is cd 13 and we bd on 10 and 12. We will tomorrow, but missed tonight. I guess I will know by my temps etc when O happened. I have started cramping just a little. It has been just over 24 hours since bd and will be about 24 hours before we can again. Fingers crossed!
Thanks everyone for the replies!

Thank you everyone for your sweet messages!! I just got home after a long day, but I've been sneakily checking HB all day and really appreciate all your messages and kind words!

@littlek: DH was very excited! I hung a paper ornament on the tree that said "Baby ____ arriving August 2014!" and he looked at it and started beaming.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@fotolori1: Tell me about it, I work night shift too and it makes everything from BDing to temping ridiculous! DH has offered to drive to my job (an hour away) so we could BD in the car lol. I declined that kind offer.
apricot / 386 posts
@mrs.panda: temping is terrible! I am hotter when I sleep during the day! FF gets all in a tizzy because my times arent consistent.
I think tonight if hubs could have come to work and we could have bd in the car I might have done it tonight! I am so afraid that tonight was THE night! Lol
Oh well.... guess we will see.
I am starting to have some watery-ish cm... does anyone know if that is before or after EWCM? I have done this for a year now and each month I have more and more questions. Bleh!

@mrs.64: im so happy for you! I wanted so badly to be pregnant this month to be able to do something cool for Christmas to tell dh. his birthday Is in Jan so maybe good news before then!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@fotolori1: I've always had watery before ewcm, if I've had it at all. Everyone is different, I've seen people go back and forth for a couple of days and some go straight to ewcm. Just BD when you can! I'm also hotter during the day and such a light sleeper so I wake up constantly

Thanks @mrs.panda! I am the same way! My phone rings, I get an email, my dog farts... which he does ALL the time.Lol . And I am up! I absolutely hate nights, but its what I have to do!

How long do you lay still, or lay with feet in the air after bd??? DH laughs at me and I don't sit still long. Curious what others do.

@MrsScottish: I've read anywhere from 10 mins to an hour. I usually do it for between 20-30 mins.
eggplant / 11408 posts
@MrsScottish: I did it for 5-10 minutes, or until I got impatient. Usually closer to 5 than 10, lol
apricot / 386 posts
@mrs.scottish: my RE said it didnt really matter, then went into a big story as to why. But I still do it for at least 5 minutes.
I got home from work and took another opk and look! Would this be considered positive and yesterdays not? Yesterdays test was what I thought was as dark or almost as dark as the control line, but todays is MUCH darker!!! The top pic is yesterday and the bottom is this morning. Which one would you all count as the first positive?
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@fotolori1: I definitely would say yesterday was your almost positive, be BD'ing cause it's around the corner, and today's is legit positive.
apricot / 386 posts
Yay! I was so afraid we missed it when we couldnt bd yesterday!!! Im actually OFF tonight so we can!!!
Thank you so much ladies!

@MrsScottish: I don't. I use an Instead Cup *instead* (ha ha). Much better in my opinion.

@septca: I keep going back and forth on instead cups.. how hard are they to insert?

So I'm a rollover, negative tests at 12 and 13dpo. No AF yet but I'm pretty sure she'll be here soon.
My only tell that AF was coming used to be major back pain. I guess my new normal post miscarriage "tell's" are every pregnancy symptom in the book. Woohoo
Cheering everyone else on the list on and keeping fingers crossed that January will truly be a new beginning

Okay, ladies - big update from me: I had my HSG this morning (CD7) and BOTH my tubes are clear. WTH? The radiologist said there is something really off about my left tube and the way the dye went through it, but it's open. Overall, I think it would be much better/more probable to get KU on the right because the way the left is seems ripe for an EP, but this is all such good news!! Let the baby making begin!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@septca: WOOOWWW!! So happy for you! I wonder if the scar tissue just eroded itself or if you were ever fully blocked?
nectarine / 2358 posts
@cmbknyc: I'm right there with you!
So I have an update as well: I got a hold of my OB's office and she said to stop taking the Provera (I took 2) and start trying as my OPK came back positive yesterday. I am confused, but I'll listen like a good little patient. Confusing cycle.

@littlek: I didn't get a chance to get more tests during nap bc I was busy getting ready for the party...and then after the party I was too tired to run to the store for them. So I haven't tested...and I'm wondering if I need to wait til tomorrow or if I can try this afternoon. I'm definitely getting some tests this morning after I drop LO off at her class...just don't know when i should POAS

@sandy: Did the spotting stop? If so, I would do a hold and then test today.
