@torchwood, I just told him his friend is going to be really mad at him (b/c EDD is his wedding day!) and he was all confused and then he went in the bathroom and saw the test. Nothing too exciting but I was too shocked to plan anything!

just got my numbers back! 558!!!! comparing that to my previous number, it's a 39.5 hour doubling time!! i'm soooo excited! first ultrasound is scheduled for 1/14!

Hi! I was on the infertility boards because we just got an RE referral last month. We've had 2 MCs plus I had surgery for a brain tumor last fall that my neuro believes affected my pregnancies and gave me lots of imbalances. We are in the middle of our diagnostics and I just got a totally unexpected BFP this morning! Its at the end of a very long cycle (my periods have been all wonky since surgery) and I wanted to test before getting the progesterone trigger to force a period. Since its a long cycle (I think I must have O'd on CD30 or so) I'm very nervous about whether this kid will stick around, but wow, here we are!

@gingerbebe: Congratulations! And I wouldn't think having a long cycle is a bad sign for it lasting. You just O'd late, but everything still got in order properly! Sounds like just the unexpected good news you could use!
