@Snowdrop: Are we an official rollover? Or are you going to try again at the end of the month?

Well, my husband basically quit his job yesterday with a 4 week notice. Hopefully he can find a job within the next month.
:: fingers crossed ::
The conversation went really well. He helped me work through my emotions and assured me that if we got pregnant this year we could dip into savings to pay for a midwife if we needed to. It is just a really big decision to make when you are in the process of trying to start a family. LOL.

@Mrs.Panda: i'm on CD5 today and hoping that I O sooner rather than later this month with the b6 and vitex so still tbd. I will choose a POAS date when I have O'd. Which to be honest can't come soon enough! Really shouldn't wish my life away like this!

@HolisticMama: I hope your DH is able to find a job in a month too! But I'm glad you guys won't have to put TTC on hold.
@Snowdrop: I know I find myself wishing that time would hurry up, but we really shouldn't wish our lives away, like you said. So much easier to ignore our own advice, huh?
@lioneyes: Sorry but yes, on to the next!

@lioneyes: sorry, hon. Wishing you lots of February baby dust.
O is officially over here. Thank god! As others have mentioned, I find the wait to O (especially in wonky cycles) way more stressful than the TWW. At least in the TWW, there's nothing you can do... While waiting to O is a stress game every day of trying to get timing right. And, I gotta say, mustering the energy to BD all the time with a baby is just not that awesome.

@lioneyes: sorry to hear Good luck and lots of baby dust for the next cycle!

Thanks for your support, ladies. I think the part that I am struggling with the most is that DH wants to change industries into a field where he has no experience, so he is looking at a job that only pays $11/hour. It's quite a bit of a change and will require some major budgeting on our parts. It will likely bring us closer together.
In the past, I've heard that stress can impact the sperm and it takes 3 months for a man to form the sperm that will meet the egg. Part of me wonders if we won't get pregnant until 3 months after DH has secured a new job that he is comfortable in.
I guess we can only wait and see.

@HolisticMama: we've had times of major cut backs and it is really surprising just how little you can survive on and still have a great quality of life. I really think it made us stronger and appreciate what we do have. I'm sure you will both do great.

@HolisticMama: I hope your guy doesn't get too stressed. F I've never heard that regarding men's stress and sperm. My DH switched careers last year and, to do so, was required to go through six month "full stress" training. I'm not joking. It was crazy. And I still wouldn't say he is "comfortable" at his new job! Yikes. So maybe I should start blaming him for our lengthy TTC process! Best of luck to you. Your guy sounds understanding and sweet to you so that's nice.

@HolisticMama: Best of luck to you I don't know about the whole sperm/stress thing...my mom conceived both my sisters she says during the most trying times in their relationship....Dad lost job, and they were about to lose house

@babycanuck: I'm so sorry doll. I really hope you get your baby soon. Find a way to treat yourself today.
@HolisticMama: keeping faith for you. My husband was out of work for 2 months when I was pregnant and it was scary and stressful but we made it through.
@Snowdrop: I hope you O soon!
@lioneyes: onwards and upwards. I hope the new year is good to you.
@septca: I Soooo feel you on the timing thing and a baby. This month we throw the kitchen sink at trying and I am exhausted just thinking about it. I want to make it romantic but that's so unlikely. Congrats on O and fx that a sperm meets the eggie

@littlek: keep us posted!
@septca: have fun BDing! good luck!
@lioneyes: sorry, lady. Here's to February!
@Snowdrop: ugh, I feel you on the wishing thing. You and @Mrs.Panda is right, we shouldn't, but it's easier said than done!
Your googling comment yesterday made me laugh- I completely agree about other forums! Though I shamefully admit to wanting to believe wrong info if it says what I want to hear! Lol
@FaithFertility: I just wanted to say again I appreciate how positive you are!

@HolisticMama: Sending you hugs, lady. My DH changed industries last year, and it was a very scary thing for me to think about. He had to go back to school for a year, and he just graduated about 3 weeks ago. It meant that for the last year, we were both working and both in school, and we were TTC. In the end, though, I know that he is much, much happier where he is now, and *that* is what is most important for our family. Maybe it will bring good things!
Also, yes, stress can affect TTC, but we got pregnant 3 times last year, so don't give up on your husband's swimmers just yet!

@newatthis: ughhhh it is the worst, just know if you do or don't it is not going to change the outcome.......fingers crossed your waiting will bring a BFP
