@HolisticMama: Exactly!
I am already thinking I could tell DH I have an early Valentines Day Present, then tell my family on Easter, lol.

I read this birth story once that took place at Christmas....with snow falling, candles and twinkling christmas lights....It totally made me want a late November, early December baby.

This cycle would be a just before our anniversary due date and next cycle would be right around DH's birthday. But, at this point, I will take ANY due date!
honeydew / 7295 posts
I check the potential due date as we as the Chinese gender chart on baby center just for fun. This cycle if I got KU it predicts an Oct. 9th due date with a baby girl. I have no intention of taking a break no matter what. Baby dust to all!!!

@HolisticMama: "We should start a group pinterest page....then we would never be productive at work EVER again. (Only part kidding)."
this just made me LOL at my desk and brought attention to how unproductive I am being.

i look up edd all the time too! (as if the date will miraculously change for some reason!) ttc makes me crazy! also, if we are ku this month, edd is 9/21.

@MrsMccarthy: I just checked and it looks like if we score this cycle our EDD would be 10/5/14 w/ a boy! Fingers crossed!!!

Hey ladies- I just posted this a couple other places, but I wanted to make sure you saw it if you were interested. My Reproductive Endocrinologist does an interesting lecture called, "In Search of the Stork." I thought it was pretty informative.

@septca: I totally want to try royal jelly! DH wouldn't take it though as he hates sweets. The only things he will eat are apple pie with vanilla ice cream (never ice cream by itself), gummy worms and the occasional brownie. I wish I had that "problem"!
@sapphire: @CatchAFallingStar I'm sorry
@ShayNanigans: Welcome!
@HolisticMama: I totally think temping, OPKs and all that business makes TTC so much more stressful. I've decided to skip temping this month and probably won't start it back up until I find a job on the day shift. It's just too much and I was literally losing sleep over it.
@dc yoga bee: I would probably BD just to cover my bases but I'm a hypocrite because we have so far failed at SMEP lol. It's like, every 3rd day or so. No + OPKs yet though. So jealous you guys are meeting up!!!
@littlek: I totally understand the hesitation to POAS. But maybe you could do it in the AM just to indulge us...? lol completely selfish over here.
As for everyone else I am ALWAYS checking my EDD! And my Chinese gender predictor. I just want a healthy baby though.

Has anyone ever seen this? It's based off of insane and silly questions (though I'm sure real) asked on Yahoo Answers. It's quite funny.
DH and I now always refer to babies as babby or babbies because of it. Even my (private) Amazon wishlist is called "babby". Oh, people.
I went to a Lasik consultation today! I have been a glasses wearer since the end of high school and they really get in the way of my job right now. I am scheduled to go on the 21st. Have any of you or anyone you know gotten it done? I'm so nervous!

@Mrs.Panda: whenever I come across yahoo answers I think how are these people even capable of functioning to a level necessary for survival?!

I haven't been on here for a week or so and I am trying to catch up.... has NO ONE had a BFP this month yet??? Fingers crossed for everyone!
I have a quick question... I am on Clomid this month, days 5-9. I am on CD 8, just took my 4th clomid and I have noticed some slight cramping today and some EWCM. Is this normal on Clomid? I almost always get a pos opk on cd 12 or 13 and ovulate on 14 or 15, so this is very early for ovulation. They told me to start opks on day 13 as clomid can cause Clomid can cause a false positive opk if taken early.
My question is... could Clomid cause early ovulation or could it cause the EWCM early because I am about to ovulate? I work at night and can't bd tonight so I am a little worried. It didn't cause early ovulation when I took it before for my clomid challenge test.

I hate symptom spotting! I am exhausted and my boobs hurt but I can say both are common with my PMS and job!
I think I'll test tomorrow, which is a day earlier than my listed test day.

@Mrs.Panda: can you make me a rollover? I'm out for this month. Thanks!
How are classes going?
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Crystal: Yes I will update in the morning when I get home classes are good, only had one day though haha. I'm sure I will be singing a different tune in a couple of weeks!
@fotolori1: That's a really good question. I haven't had that happen to me, but I believe Clomid is an estrogen type drug which is what causes ewcm. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just trying to remember back to OB in nursing school!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs.Panda: no rush, whenever you get a chance! Good luck this semester.
@sandy: thanks!
Can we start the feb poas thread? I kid, I kid.
I do like @HolisticMama idea of the Pinterest board!

@Crystal: I am so sorry you joined me in the rollover group.
Maybe we'll have October little ones together?
nectarine / 2358 posts
We need some 's ladies!!
Totally easier said than done!
What are you doing to keep your mind off TTC? If anything? I'm going to visit my best friend across the state from tomorrow night through Monday. I just hope I don't get a positive OPK during this time or else DH is taking a drive!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs.Panda: how fun!!!
Work is crazy busy for me right now, so that will help. Plus, I know I'm out right now, but it's long enough before O that I'm not going too crazy yet. And I've bern focusing on fitness goals, which is also helping.
During the TWW, how soon do you start testing? How often do you test?
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Crystal: will since I don't seem to ovulate on my own right now I guess I don't really have a real TWW. I have done it as early as what I thought to be 8 DPO though! What do you do?
ETA ok that's a lie I've done it as early as what I thought was like 3 DPO. Because I'm crazy.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs.Panda: honestly, I've never tried testing early before!
I only had digitals, and only tested the day after my period was due if I was late b
Now that I ordered a pack of cheapies with my wonfo OPKs, I'm sure I'll be tempted to test early and often!
pear / 1846 posts
@fotolori1: Never actually taken it myself, but a long the same lines of @mrs.panda: I know it blocks oestrogen receptors which then cause the body to the oestrogen is low and thus produce more to compensate. Oestrogen is what causes EWCM so it could make sense BUT from what I've seen on TTC boards and not learnt in nursing school it seems to dry up cm fir a lot f people. Is it possible to BD just in case for peace of mind?
I stopped the pills last night and this morning I'm already starting to get watery cm back. So glad I made the connection and so mad my doctor didn't!

Tested this morning a day earlier than my listed test day and it's I figure I'm pretty much out. Just waiting on AF to show up.

@Snowdrop: honestly, frustrated. We're about to move to cycle 11 and I just didn't ever think it would take this long. I'm starting to get worried that something is wrong and that's why we haven't had any luck.
