So I am visiting my friend and we have been up late watching movies and wedding planning for her and (TMI) I just went to the bathroom to find bright red blood. I am CD 19 right now with no positive OPKs. Of course the month I can get bloodwork on CD 25 to see what's going on. WTF.

@MrsScottish: oh that is such a hard thing to deal with. I wish non of us knew as much as we do about ttc. I've been asked if I knew there were online calculators which tell you when you are fertile...yeah if only it were that easy.

I look @Septca 's advice and POAS this morning (early and often right?). It was SMU and very clear, so it wasn't even a good sample.
Unfortunately, when I wiped, I think I saw the faintest tinge of brown. I think AF spotting has begun. Not that I thought my chances were all that high this month, but I got hopeful that, even after a temp drop of 0.5 degree yesterday morning, my temp spiked back up again this morning. Usually my temp is consistently dropping by now. Oh well, I'm likely a rollover, but feeling excited to start my first monitored Clomid cycle! Happy Sunday Funday!

@dc yoga bee: if we sucker punched everyone who gave us helpful advice like that, I don't think we'd have any friends left. I didn't even justify the online calculator thing with a response. The most i could offer was an awkward silence!
@sarahnicole218: you might not be out... the bit of brown spotting might be from yesterdays temp dip? -
@Mrs.Panda: hugs. Hopefully the blood work can tell you what's going on, and this was just a freak cycle.

@Snowdrop: Unfortunately, our timing wasn't great. We only hit O-3 due to DH being ill. I know there is of course still a chance with that, but it wasn't desirable.
Don't worry about false hope, I give myself plenty of that as well!

Also, I have a random question for the opk geniuses! If you test with FMU, and get a positive, does that mean your surge started the day before, and hence you are probably o'ing on that same day? I do not temp, so I get the can't confirm without temping. Like, does fertility friend assume I tested in morning, afternoon, what? I take opk extremely early in the morning (anywhere from 2-5am). The more I'm thinking about it, my surge starts overnight. Soooo, smiley opk CD 16 at 4:30am, FF says I o'ed on cd 17, could I really have started surge on cd 15, and o'ed on cd 16!?!

@dc yoga bee: I think it depends how long your surge is but most likely yes, it happened overnight. I get two days of positives.

@Crystal: @Snowdrop: That's what I'm starting to think! Well, *if* I o'ed on cd 16, we hit O-2, O, and O +1. If I o'ed on cd 17, we hit O-3, O-1, and O. I feel good about it either way. Although it means we only hit O last month, and O-3, and O the first month.

The tampon crafts certainly started my day off with a laugh- I can't believe people really do that. However I would be happy to participate in craft night if it means @LindsayInNY gets her bfp!
@Mrs.Panda: That really stinks, I hope it turns out to be a fluke and not af.
@littlek: I would love to see pictures of your new furniture too! I love when my husband goes into nesting mode, all of a sudden he will realize I was right about needing like six things at once.
@Snowdrop: That is hilarious, my husband made the mistake of saying that once...
@dc yoga bee: I am certainly not an expert but I would say that is a definite possibility. With digital opks I get a positive and then confirm ovulation the next day which is part of why I prefer the cheapies now, I can see a fade in pattern.

@littlek: Thanks, I think this is our first month with actual good timing! I'm still only 4-5 dpo, but I had twinges on my right side all night that woke me up. Probably still the tummy bug from the other night!

I POAS a day early (thanks @sepca!) and... I think it's a squinter. Being cautiously optimistic--I'll POAS in another couple days if AF doesn't show up.

@Snowdrop: according to FF, I'm 14dpo. So kinda faint for a bfp at this point, but I'm thinking sticky thoughts!

And FF could be wrong about your dpo. It's a good tool but I try not to put too much weight in it. Will you test again tomorrow to see if it gets darker?
