@gksj: as @dcyogabee: said, ff friend can be wrong, plus it depends when you implanted and I read something very interesting once that said girls show up sooner on hpts than boys, they did a hcg blood test by dpo then a comparison. I don't know how reliable the study was though.

@gksj: I see it!! congrats! And FWIW, my BFP looked like that when I thought I was 11 DPO, but buy u/s measurements, I was actually 8 DPO.

Well, looks like I won't be making any tampon crafts. Another BFN :bfn:. At this point, I don't even think it surprises me. I had DH look to make sure there was nothing there. And there wasn't.
On to cycle 11 since December 2012. It's next cycle or nothing because I have a doctors appointment at the end of the month to see where to go from here. We'll see if Cheri was right, I guess...

@gksj: I definitely see something in the second pic! I didn't in the first but the second is visible!

@LindsayInNY: I'm so sorry to hear that, glad to hear about you seeing someone though, I want this to happen so much for you.

Thank you ladies! I know I don't post very often--HB can be very overwhelming for an introvert... Fingers crossed it sticks... It's so nice to be able to "tell" people this early!
And for all of you waiting mamas, it took us four cycles (although I think we all know that feels like forever). But your time will come soon! Baby dust to all!

@gksj: I see it! Congratulations!
@LindsayInNY: I am sorry to hear you are out but I am really glad you have have a plan, for me at least it took a lot of the worry away when I made an appointment to see my doctor. Plus Cheri has a pretty decent track record so here's hoping she is right and the appt. gets canceled!

@cmbknyc: @sandy: @Crystal: Oh My Gosh. Those tampon crafts are ADORABLE!! I hope we are all making them soon! Let's open an etsy shop of just tampon crafts! LOL!
I also want a Valentine's Day tampon craft. Please work on this. LOL. A cupid, perhaps?
@MrsScottish: @littlek: :: sigh :: I know. It's so hard. And people are just trying to help. But it feels like a little jab in the empty tummy. @Snowdrop: And you're totally right about a lot of people not having to know much about TTC. I try to take a step back and feel lucky for them. And hope that my someday daughter will have the same experience. But lord knows that if she has trouble TTC...I will have all the knowledge she needs. LOL.
@fotolori1: How are you POAS buddy? Having any O signs yet?
@Mrs.Panda: Ack! So confusing!
@sarahnicole218: Boo. :: hugs :: You have such a positive attitude! I too always feel like Cycle Day 1 is a restart. But you're not quite out yet, lady!
@Cole: What's new with you?
@gksj: OOoooh...that second picture is much better! I can't wait to see it get darker! Or are you going to get a digital?
@LindsayInNY: My response to your morning post: "$&@&$#@&@#!!! ($*@&@!!!" Can you do something nurturing for yourself today? Or at least this week? I would like a report back on how awesome it was.

@LindsayInNY: I'm sorry!!!! I hope you get your sticky BFP this next cycle! What did your Cheri reading say?

I am heading over to the in-laws today to watch quite a bit of football and eat a lot. We'll probably also play quite a bit of Phase 10 and dominoes. I also have some homework I need to work on.
Because I have picked the family room to deep clean in January. I think I will clean electrical outlets, light switches, and heater vents today in that room.
CD12. Still trying to figure out my body's cycles. Not sure how to check CM after an evening of DTD. OPKs should arrive on Monday and I'm terrified that I will never see lines.
So I guess I'm scared that I'm not ovulating? But I usually have such definite ovulation signs- EWCM, mittelschmerz, definite increase in interest.
I'm just a worry wort.
What are you ladies doing today?

Hi everyone. I want to respond to each of you but it's so hard on the iPhone when there are several pages. I was MIA for a while because I got the most horrible food poisoning! At least I assume it was food poisoning. I was projectile v for 5 hours with the most unbearable headache and pains. It was awful and I kept imagining myself with the flu during O and trying to convince my husband not to miss this month and do me even with the flu. I could imagine him saying Hell No! Luckily I woke this morning feeling a ton better. So now I'm hopeful we can get our BD on. Just got my first high on the CBEFM this morning at CD 11. I think tomorrow we will start to Get Busy.
@gksj I see the line! Congrats and have a happy and healthy 9 mos.
I'm so glad the board is picking up.
@LindsayInNY: sorry this wasn't your month. I hope you have your long awaited BFP soon.

@dc yoga bee: sometimes when I get a positive opk I continue testing (sometimes every four hours if I'm crazy) until I get a negative. That's the only way I think I can feel comfortable guessing when I O'ed based on OPKs alone. CM helps me figure it out, too.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@HolisticMama: I didn't think a girl could check cm after DTD. Certainly there is more than just CM up there which confuses things. Although I could be wrong about that.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LindsayInNY: so sorry about the negative. Could the progesterone be the cause of a delayed positive? And you know the saying... You aren't out until you're out.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsMcD: I normally keep testing too, but didn't buy any opk this month and was using leftovers so only had one left which I used three days later like a dummy!
@LindsayInNY: I'm so sorry. Hopefully you won't need your apt next month. I really hope you get your sticky baby soon ((hugs))
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMcD: I thought so. I googled around this morning. It's so darn difficult, because ideally- you'd be doing the deed all the time. LOL. Oh well. I told DH that we will just have to DTD every other day this week. Too bad our schedules are so awful. I often work until 8 PM at night.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@dc yoga bee: same thing happened to me this month! Last opk was the day I got a positive. I contemplated buying a new box so I could keep testing, but I'm cheap and lazy. And fairly apathetic about TTC at this point.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@HolisticMama: if I DTD at night. I can't even distinguish cm in the morning sometimes.

I often get behind on these threads because I can't check too often and feel like I'm missing stuff. I just saw "tampon crafts" and cracked up!!! Hahahaha! I definitely need to go back and read more about that!
I'm pretty sure I Oed yesterday. We timed it perfectly, so now for the dreaded TWW. After 9 months of trying it's hard to be optimistic, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
