@septca: I peed on a stick and I have AF, just to make sure .. That's "testing early"

In attempt to keep my my mind off my lack of being pregnant.. DH bought our dining room furniture.

Since I'm always expecting AF, I stocked up on some tampons this evening. I wanted to buy the box of 18 "just in case" so I don't have a ton sitting around. Figures the kind/absorbancy I use was only in the store in 36+ quantity boxes. DH yelled at me to just pick something so, of course, here I am with 36+ tampons. This MUST mean that I'm getting a BFP tomorrow, right?? Right?? If only it were that easy...

@LindsayInNY: lol! Seems likely because of that, though. I'll keep my FX just in case!
I love how much everyone is such a cheerleader here!

@LindsayInNY: FX for you!!!
Assuming my cycle is magically back to where it always was pre-baby, AF should show up tomorrow. But I suspect it's more likely I just didn't ovulate, so I'm guessing nothing will happen. I'll still plan to POAS next weekend if AF never shows up, but I don't have high hopes.

@LindsayInNY: Stocking the thread for you :)))) Best of luck and prayers tomorrow!!!! And I saw with Murphays law it would be that you get a BFP :))))

@Adira: how many cycles have you had while bf-ing? Or do you think there are other issues at play for not ovulating.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Crystal: I've only had AF once so far. So this is my first cycle, so I suspect it's not back to normal yet.

@Adira: ahh, ok, that makes sense. FX it happens next cycle! We can be POAS buddies.

@littlek: I was happy AF stayed away, but I wanted to start TTC (or at least NTNP) when Xander turned 6 months, but AF continued to stay away! And now my cycle clearly isn't back to normal yet! So now that I want to get this show on the road, I'm not sure I'm happy AF stayed gone for so long... it may have been better if she came back right away!
@Crystal: Yes! I love having a POAS buddy! In the past, I was good luck for people - my POAS buddy would get pregnant after two cycles being my buddy, haha.

:). One of our best friends came over for dinner and announced she is pregnant. Super happy for them!! They had a surprise pregnancy 2 months prior to their wedding which ended in mc. She got pregnant the first cycle after the mc agian!! So excited for them but bummed out too.
We chatted about ttc for a bit but I had to stop the conversation. She admits she is super lucky which I am so happy for them, I am, but it just frustrates me as much. She couldn't believe we have been trying for 3 cycles. She asked me I I knew that there was only a 20% chance of getting pregnant and that you couldn't back 14 days from When you get your period not count forward. She found that out from her doctor after getting pregnant. I'm yah I know.
End rant.

@MrsScottish: sorry, friend. It's such a conflicting emotion to be so happy and so sad all at the same time. FWIW, I can empathize with your struggles.

It could be the alcohol I'm drinking, but I lost it at this one:
It uses the applicator tip as the angel head.

Hahahaha the scary thing (aside from the tampon boo) is that the link was one of MANY devoted to crafting with tampons! Some people have WAY too much time on their hands...
