@SweetiePie: girl you are for sure preggo!!! Wishing you a happy healthy little peanut.
@septca: hahah I love your neurosis because it makes me feel less alone with my own neurosis. I hope you are wrong though and you really are KU. I got very sick the week before I got my BFP with my son. Maybe it's just a baby boy taking longer to show up on a FRER? Fx for you.
@babypie: sorry you didn't get you second times a charm wish. I think it's hard not to hope for it to be easy again f it was seemingly easy the first time. I know I feel that way about this cycle too despite the fact that my cycles have also changed and I am 36 now not 34. I hope next cycle goes better for you.
@bushelandapeck: @HolisticMama: I can relate to this too. Not only is my libido not what it used to be since having our son but my husband is also kind of hard to get into the mood sometimes. I'm very nervous to force the issue but I'm hoping he will comply since tonight is our first BD night in the window. We shall see.
@sarahnicole218: soooo hoping this is your month doll!!!

@SweetiePie: I can see a beautiful pink line! And I'm on my phone and usually have a hard time seeing squinters...that's no squinter. CONGRATS again

@SweetiePie: I see it- Congrats!!!!
@whatsarahsaid: FX!
@septca: I love your POAS theories! Are you drinking enough water? That sometimes makes me feel like that.... either way, FX you get some good news to report shortly!
I am super super super antsty for O this month, so let me on the crazy train at the next stop.
Does anyone else's DHs take TTC BDing seriously? Mine is going into it this next month like a prize fighter. He seems to take personal affront to his "boys" not immediately knocking me up.

@LindsayInNY:sorry lady but I'm still rooting for you
@gksj: congrats! Have a H&H 9 months
@SweetiePie: Yay congrats I'm so happy for you I knew it would happen I'm wishing you all the luck and sending sticky thoughts have a H&H 9 months!

@Crystal: Yes, my DH is like this! He was pretty damn cocky about it the first time I got pregnant because it literally happened the first try, so the fact that we've been TTC with ovulation tests for 4 months now with nothing happening has been a bit of a blow to his ego.

Ok...so apparently all I had to do was talk about the fact that I didn't have any symptoms and then my body will go into full on attack-mode! Within the last 30 minutes, I've had: hot flashes, diarrhea, cramps, and deep red/brown spotting. AF is rearing her ugly head.
Thank you to you sweet ladies who have been holding out hope for me! Your support is so appreciated!
So here's my plan: CD1 will likely be tomorrow, I'll start Clomid on Thursday (CD3) and I go in for an ultrasound on Friday (CD4) to check for cycsts and what not, as we're still in the testing process of figuring out if I have PCOS or not. I'm feeling positive about this coming cycle. It's my first Clomid cycle, and it will be monitored. I hope that knowing exactly when I'm ovulating will actually help DH and I with our timing and alleviate some frustrations about how many times we try every cycle only to miss it because it's so long and unpredictable.
My birthday is on February 18th, a BFP would be the most amazing bday present I could ever ask for...here's to hoping!

@Crystal: My husband definitely takes its serious. But he's VERY type A. I'm lucky he doesn't schedule BD. He's all business.. LOL

@whatsarahsaid: oooo that all sounds super promising!!!! Sending lot's of positive thoughts your way!

@sarahnicole218: Sorry about AF, but it's great that you have a plan for next cycle!!!

@septca: there is speculation that girls show up in hcg sooner than boys do but I've seen people with a positive at like 8dpo have a boy so I'm not sure of the credence. My tests were really light at 15DPO and I had a boy. There are quite a few people who have negatives before positives too so I think managing your expectations is good but don't down a bottle of wine just yet hehe

@sarahnicole218: sorry this cycle seems to be kaput but I'm very hopeful for your monitored cycle!!!

I figure any early predictor test has a 50% chance of being right, but I still think its fun to look at!
I just did the chinese predictor chart, and if I get KU this month, supposedly we will have a girl.

I made an appointment for Feb 14 to see a RE. The first meeting is a consultation.. Hoping I get a BFP before then.. but I'd rather have the meeting set up.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@littlek: I love how proactive you are. All those guidelines that tell you to wait 6 months over 35 don't factor in that appointments can take time to get and then testing itself takes time. I hope you are KU on your own though.

@MrsMccarthy: Exactly!!! I want a bambino... there is no time to waste... I'm not getting any younger
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I kind of hope that DH has candles lit or something for me when I come home. Because apparently I live in some baby making fantasy or something.
@Crystal: I'm pretty sure my DH is the opposite of your DH. And I'm always thinking.."ARGH! Your count is low and morphology is off! We need to try all that much harder!"
@sarahnicole218: Oh no! LOL. I am so sorry that you feel bad. But I just had to giggle when you said "full on attack-mode." Sometimes I feel like my body does that to me too.
@littlek: Oh! I really enjoyed my meeting with my RE. He actually said that quite a few people get pregnant after just _meeting_ with a RE. Like it's some awesome reassurance or something.

I have news!!
At the beginning of the year, I asked my MIL if she might want to go on vacation with me. Yesterday she said she thought I should go to Italy with her and a few girlfriends.
Today? She booked the trip! HOLY COWWWWWW!
I am going to VENICE!!
http://uniworld.com/boutique-river-cruises/europe/venice-and-the-gems-of-northern-italy
I am still pretty much in shock. And of course, one of my first thoughts was, "Should I stop TTC? Keep going?" Hm. Don't know. Thoughts?
persimmon / 1167 posts
@littlek: Yeah. He puts that some women just get pregnant by sitting in his waiting room. So he likes to tell the story of a woman that came in and sat in every chair in the waiting room. LOL. She did get pregnant. I'm not sure if it was because of the chairs. Haha.

@HolisticMama: hahaha that's funny! That's exciting about your trip!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@HolisticMama: Ugh- I hate when people say that! Though now that you have a vacation booked, you are probably already 3 months pregnant.
That sounds so fun, though! How exciting!

@littlek: Congratulations! That is a big step.
@MrsMccarthy: Well, here's hoping. Day 3 of absurd nausea. No other symptoms to suggest the flu... WHY do weird illnesses always happen during the TWW?
@HolisticMama: Fantastic!!! That will be GREAT. I would absolutely not stop TTC unless you would be 30+ weeks for the trip. We went to Paris when I was 26 weeks and it was great. I still felt good, was able to walk everywhere, etc.
pomelo / 5720 posts
@HolisticMama: Wow! That is so sweet of your MIL! When is the trip planned for? I guess that would factor in to whether or not I would keep ttc....but maybe not? I'm honestly not sure what I would do.

@HolisticMama: That's fantastic! My husband and I went to Venice on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it!
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Crystal: LOL. My MIL usually gets some pretty heavy duty travel insurance. So I guess in the miraculous case that I do get pregnant and am terribly sick- I could just take the time and snuggle in bed.
@septca: @bushelandapeck: I was thinking the same thing.
OH yes! I didn't tell you the dates!
April 16-27.
So I think the only thing that could potentially would be an issue would be first trimester morning sickness. But god...what I wouldn't do for that morning sickness...
BUT- I have been trying to really focus on my diet so that I could possibly never get morning sickness? FX. http://wellnessmama.com/6065/how-i-avoided-morning-sickness/
@Aria: Is there anywhere in particular you think I should go?
pomelo / 5720 posts
For those that have had bpf's before, did you have EWCM after you thought you O'd? My body used to be so predicable before the m/c and now I've had EWCM three separate times this month with no confirmed O date. I'm CD 20 today and have no idea if I O'd or not....I'm also having some of the same pulling/tightening on my right side that I've had both times I've been pregnant before but I keep telling myself I am just making things up.
We are going to VT in a couple of weeks and I will be able to go skiing for the first time in 4 years. I am already worried that I won't be able to go skiing, on the off chance that I am pregnant this month. I don't even know if it would matter that early but I don't know that I would be able to enjoy myself knowing that something could happen...sigh.

I think I may have solved my nauseousness issue: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/nauseous-post-weaning. I am in the middle of weaning and am only nursing/pumping 3x/day. I definitely get nauseous while pumping these days. So maybe that's it?!?!
@bushelandapeck: I had tons of watery-creamy CM after O the month I conceived, but never EWCM. But since DD was born I have had multiple patches of EWCM per cycle (but never after O). Hmmmmm....
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@septca: You poor thing. That isn't fun at all.
I agree with sickness during the TWW- so not fair.
@HolisticMama: I agree with the others, April wouldn't make you too far along, so I would go for it!!! And with the travel insurance, you have nothing to worry about.
pomelo / 5720 posts
@septca: So weird...that's why I think I may not have O'd yet. I've given up on the opk's...I don't have the patience for them (or the ability to hold it for 4 hours! lol) so I basically have no idea what's going on.

@littlek: What did you say when you called the re? I have an appointment in February with my gyn. and I am hoping she can help get the ball rolling but I guess I felt like I needed permission to contact a re (just because I am a rule follower not because of insurance or anything.) I love my gyn but if a re would be a better choice I would rather switch earlier as opposed to later in the process.
@septca: I swear 3/4 of my cycles have involved mystery illnesses during the tww. It is totally unreasonable!
@HolisticMama: That sounds like such fun! I hope you are pregnant and not sick for it!
@Crystal: I wish he took it a bit more seriously or maybe less? He seems to stress out right at the critical time and bd seems like a chore at that point.
@sarahnicole218: Sorry to hear you are out but it is awesome that this month has a great plan!
pear / 1846 posts
@HolisticMama: so exciting about the trip! Don't stop trying, even if you do have morning sickness, it will just take your mind off it.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@bushelandapeck: Yeah, ick. My cycles have been *so* odd postpartum. I had planned to continue to BF 2x/day as long as DD wanted to, but my milk seems to be drying up and, honestly, I am totally okay with that. I can only hope that weaning will lead me back to normal cycles and more hope of TTC #2!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Cole: I went to my OB last month and got cd3 and cd21 testing done. All results came back normal. So I kinda feel like there is nothing else he can do for me.
