@bushelandapeck: I get EWCM a lot so I don't really go off of that.

@septca: And hopefully not feeling so sick.
My TOM was weird too.
Normally its moderate and lasts 4 days. This time it was very heavy for 2 days, and I have had dark brown spotting for a few days.
I am anxiously awaiting CD 10 so I can start OPKs.

@HolisticMama: keep TTC! I got pregnant while on honeymoon in Thailand and Cambodia for 3 weeks. We planned to start trying the following month but had a very lucky and unexpected BFP after decided to skip barrier BC a day in my window. I was in a 3rd world country and it all went well. I have low AMH. So ya never know but if you can get some in just before I'd say go for it.

@bushelandapeck: I am an avid skiier and I already have a ski trip planned in VT next month and I intend on doing that ski trip even if I find out I am pregnant before the trip. My personal thoughts on it are that if you think you will fall often, probably not the best idea, but if you think you would only fall down once I think it's fine. I don't think every person would follow this, but it is really whatever you feel comfortable doing.

@sarahnicole218: I'm doing Clomid again this cycle and have been instructed to start on CD5 but I think I want to start it CD3. I am impatient. We will be like almost cycle buddies!
@septca: Ahhh! Hopefully you get good news soon!
@mrs. tictactoe: Welcome! And I need to take a page from your book and spice things up in the bedroom!
@HolisticMama: I am so jealous of your trip! When are you going to go?
So this last cycle was so bizarre. 18 days long and *TMI* bright red. I've never had bright red before except for maybe a day or 2 during my heaviest days. Well this has been pretty bright red mixed with dark red/brown. Maybe because my cycles have always been 40+ days so I have an older lining I'm not used to this? Anyway, my doctor gave me permission to up my Clomid to 100mg and see if I ovulate. Back to temping the best my schedule allows I guess!

@Mrs.Panda: Is using OPKs helping?
I am sorry your cycle is being weird, mine is too.
18 days is a really short amount of time compared to your normal 40! Did the dr say anything?
@Mrs.Panda: Thanks for keeping this up!

@FaithFertility: We booked a cruise for our anniversary in March!!! I plan to relax with good food regardless, lol! Too afraid to zipline pregnant or not!

@Crystal: I haven't had a positive OPK yet this cycle, which makes it even more bizarre! And my "normal" cycles are really artificial because I take Provera to trigger my period. Bah!

@FaithFertility: Key West (which do3snt count as a port imo), and grand canman. I wanted to go to three places, but dh was adamant it was over our anniversary, and this accommodates our dates withfree room upgrades!

@dc yoga bee: Keys are a blast, so is Grand Cayman......'The cruise we want to book.....Come on Tax return...lol is to Grand Cayman and Jamiaca
In Grand Cayman Sting Ray City is a MUST!!! :))))

@FaithFertility: So, this is the first year I've had a big girl job, and DH and I look like we make a lot of money on paper (law school loan payments hello), and we have no kids, and don't own in this dc market. I'm afraid what tax season will bring but DH is an accountant and internal auditor so he said we shouldn't owe with how we filed our w-2! We will see! Also, he said he has NO interest in touching a stingray and getting killed! Help me convince him!

@dc yoga bee: Hopefully you will get some extra cruise cash

I'm walling you some help :))))))

@dc yoga bee: fun!

@dc yoga bee: Wooo cruise! What line are you going on? And LMAO about the sting rays. I was telling DH on our last cruise that I didn't want to go to Sting Ray City because I didn't want to be stabbed with a barb and die and he just laughed and laughed. I felt like it was a valid concern!
@FaithFertility: What did the RE do for you? I begged to have one more cycle of Clomid before being shipped off to the RE not because of being worried about what the will tell me, but of the cost!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I did clomid with my OBGYN BUT NOT MONITORED...... SO I DID NOT GET PG OBGYN SAID AFTER 4 CYCLES WITH HIM I WAS OFF TO AN RE
I AM STILL TAKING CLOMID AS IT DOES MAKE ME PRODUCE GOOD FOLLICLES AND DOES NOT SEEM TO BOTHER MY LINNING YET, WE ADDED IN IUI BECAUSE MY CM WAS ALWAYS DRY AND HE SAID IT CAN BE HOSTILE TO SPERM AT TIMES...SOOOO IUI WILL HELP THAT!
WE HAVE DONE 2 IUIs I BECAME PG BOTH TIMES, BUT QUICKLY HAD NUMBERS DROP
SO WE KNOW IUI DEF HELPS SPERM MEET THE EGG...BUT WE ARE HOPING THAT THE LOSES WERE JUST A FLUKE, SO FAR BLOODTESTS SHOW NO REAL SIGNS AS TO WHY
WE TOO WERE SCARED ABOUT AN RE BECASUE OF FINANCES, BUT WE MADE THE DESCION TO DO WHAT WE CAN AND TAKE IT DAY BY DAY!!!!!!
UGHH THERE GOES THE ALL CAPS WHEN I POST AGAIN..LOL

@Mrs.Panda: I am definitely out! AF arrived. Boo. I was secretly hoping to POAS again tomorrow. Rolling-over to February. This time, will try with opk to figure out the new wonky cycle. Congrats to the BFPs so far!!

@littlek: Thanks, that makes sense and I think I will wind up going that route soon too. I had crazy periods and two gynecologists couldn't figure it out so I got an iud to "fix" it but go figure the problem still exists after having it removed.
@mrs. tictactoe: Great resolution, I could stand to follow suit!
@HolisticMama: I am going to check that out, one of the other links you had posted, I think the one about seed cycling, had some great info on the site so thanks!
@babypie: Sorry to hear you are out. I hope next cycle is extra lucky!
My tmi question for today- often my underwear looks almost bleached in the crotch area (after being washed) and I am wondering if I have really acidic cm? Or maybe I just buy cheap underwear? Anyone else have this issue?
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Cole: I've had that problem in the past, but not recently. I think I remember a UTI coming up in past google searches.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Crystal: I had the same kind of cycle last week! It was so annoying and weird. I got my AF 7 days early and it started and ended with spotting with only 2 really heavy days. Those two days were crazy heavy though.
Just had our first timed sex tonight and I was nervous but it wen really well. My husband was really cute about it all. For all of the ups and downs we had over having a second baby he is really on board now and fun about it. He said " okay you're pregnant now!" Hahah he was joking of course but it was nice to see him enjoying our time. I am on CD12 and typically the earliest I O is CD15 but lately it's been CD18-20. I got my 2nd high on the monitor but I've been getting about 4-5 days of highs on average before peak so I think we have a LO of BD ahead. We are gonna do every other day this month I think just so we don't get to worn out in case we have another week or so till I O.
Just a little pop quiz for everyone: how many children do you ultimately want? In our case we are gonna be done after this one, our second. I would love a third but it seems unlikely. I'll be glad just to give my son a sibling though.

@Mrs.Panda: we are going on norweigan this time. We went on carnival for our honeymoon, and it was a disaster (awful food, awfuo room, awful boat, incredibly boring, the list goes on)! Hopefully, this makes up for it and I'm not still scarred two years later!
@MrsMccarthy: DH wants one because he had an awful time growing up with his sisyer. I want two because my brother and I had a terrific time. I say a lot of that is parenting, because his parents let them do a lot of awful things to one another saying they would "grow out of it." Unfortunately, they did not. I told dh before we got married it was important for me to try for two, and he is on board 100%. Just gotta get number 1 down first

I'm so perplexed this month by my cycle. It's day 30 and still no AF. I took a FRER yesterday and it was negative, so I'm guessing I either ovulated much much later than I thought or my cycle this month is just totally off. At this point I'm not even upset at the possibility of not being pregnant, I'd just rather not be in this weird limbo.
pear / 1548 posts
@LovelyPlum: no, I don't. I don't think I could chart consistently and accurately. I didn't use OPKs this month either, I just used ewcm as my main indicator of O. Which now that my cycle is this long, I may have O'd later in my cycle than I thought which is weird, because I had very strong signs of O early in my cycle.
