@Snowdrop: Adorable! I'm a new knitter (been at it for about a year). I'd love that hat pattern if you're willing to share....I started by wanting to make blankets for all my preggo friends but they take too damn long . I've moved onto hats (see attached photo)!

Morning Bees! In the spirit of testing early and often, today is either 7/8 DPO, and BFN this morning!

@ChiCalGoBee: that's how long I've been not it again actually. I could email you the pattern but I think it would be better if you went o the original source, they have soo many free patterns, you have to create a user name though.
http://www.ravelry.com/
If you search for hats on there you'll get loads, including the oe I made. I always tick the free pattern box too because you have to pay for some.
How do you make yours? Is it in the round?
@babycanuck: so sorry to hear you are struggling this month. Really wish I could cheer you up. Have a glass of wine on me.
@crystal: if I could stick at one thing long enough I would be totally tempted o open an easy shop!

@mrs.panda: please can you put me down for the 29th? I will hopefully be 13 dpo then, and 12 dpo is the absolutely longest my LP has ever been. Last month it was 9!
We DTD last night but poor DH didn't finish (I did though) totally felt like I used him, he was gutted. Luckily he didn't know it was baby making time so he wasn't too hard on himself! Anyway he is deffo getting it tonight...and tomorrow....and the day after hahaha

@dc yoga bee: still so early. fx!
@LindsayInNY: boo....sorry about AF. I hope the wine was tasty! I often wish I could just have wine and popcorn for dinner, like I did from time to time before LO
@Snowdrop: Woohoo!

So today is my listed test date. Since I got a BFN this morning, we're going to go with FF and say I'm only 11 DPO. But I have zero symptoms that can't be explained by something else (my weaning-releated hormone crash still has me feeling like death warmed over), so I'm likely out. I will keep testing and keeping my FX for all of you!

@dc yoga bee: still waaayyy early, but I applaud your dedication to the early and often plan!
pear / 1846 posts
@septca: well you can't rely on symptoms anyway, I'm hoping you'll get your positive in a few days!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@septca: Boo, sorry you saw a BFN. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you though!
@dc yoga bee: haha, that's soooooo early!!! Hopefully that BFN turns into a BFP in the next few days!!

@Snowdrop: nice OPK lines! Get some!!!
@septca: aw I'm so sorry. It ain't over till its over though. Hopin your O or implantation was on the late side.
@dc yoga bee: still have FX for you!
I'm on CD14 and just got my 4th high on my fertility monitor. I typically get 4 or 5 in a row before my egg so we will be doing the horizontal hokey pokey this we fo sho! I'm hoping that I ovulate closer to CD16 or 18 again instead of the annoying CD20 or 21 I was experiencing. Here's hoping!!!
kiwi / 630 posts
@dc yoga bee: Still super duper early!!!
I tested this morning could be 8 or 10dpo. Not sure bec I didn't use OPK's this month and I've O'd at CD 16 or 18 in the past. Got a BFN. I felt like I was coming down with flu last night, sore throat and body which is what prompted me to test this am. So I'm holding out until Friday which will be either 10 or 12dpo.
UGH now I wish I had used opk's. I love not playing a guessing game.

Hi everyone:
I am new to this board. So excited to see everyone's results. My cycle has been so all over the place (from 28 days to 36 days) the last couple of months. Based on that I should be at 32 days on the 24th of January. Anyone else testing around that week?
Also, had a quick question. Three days ago after I think i was ovulating sex became painful-- not like excrutiating but uncomfortable. Like something was stuck way up there. (I apologize for TMI!!!!). Could that be my cervix becoming firm. I guess I never really noticed that before-- just wanted to see if anyone else had that experience?
Thanks all!! Good luck to everyone!!!!!

@cmbknyc: hmm, still early..
@MrsMccarthy: Getting closer!!!
@Lady Hibiscus: that's odd.. I've never had that happen

I will often be uncomfortable after o. No natural lube, and things are tighter. We have found some pre seed or lube helps.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: Yes! This happened day of O, and after even with using pre seed lubicrant. This is the first time that has happened!

@dc yoga bee: you are so dedicated to testing early and often :). Fx it's a BFP for you this month!
I tested yesterday after a 3hr hold and it was a BFN. AF is expected tomorrow/Friday so I will hopefully know very soon whether I'm out this month or not. I'm holding out hope despite the BFN bc usually I'm spotting by now and so far nothing...and I'm making sure to wear non-red underwear

Thanks ladies! I feel like I am noticing things about my body that never mattered before!
@dcyogabee- hopefully, this is some kind of strange, good sign for us!!
Good advice about the preseed- I bought it but have not tried it. The consistency really weirds me out and snaps me out of the moment. Haha. I'll try it next month if this one is a bust.

@septca: God luck with teh interview- keep us posted!
@dc yoga bee: I applaud your early and often dedication!
@Lady Hibiscus: It can feel a little slimy out of the tube, but it actually does feel pretty realistic once its applied. Good luck!
Tonight is the first night we are starting the SMEP plan! Wish us luck!

Secret: Yesterday I had a leadership training event in the morning, then I took the rest of the day to myself. I got a pedicure, got a ton of stuff done around the house, and made beouf bourguinon for dinner. Delicious! DH and my dinner conversation, however, made me realize that we really need a break. I am going to try to figure out a way to get a weekend away this spring, just the two of us.
Thank you all SO much for the interview well wishes. It went well and I am pretty sure I will get passed to the next round. Woo hoo!!!!

@septca: Good for you! Those indulgent yet productive days are the best and totally necessary. Glad your interview went well

Hi, Ladies!
I need to catch up with everyone! But I'm pretty excited! My wondfos came yesterday and this morning I got an almost positive OPK- so I'm thinking later today it will be very much a positive (the one from the last was pretty light).
So here is my question. DH and I DTD yesterday (Yay!). But I'm wondering if we should do it again tonight or not. I know that every day sex can lower sperm count and we already have a low sperm count. Every day sex can also help mophology, which we have an issue with.
So what do you ladies think? DTD tonight? Or stick to every other day?
OH- and regarding early and often. When my tests came yesterday night- I took both an OPK and a HCG test. I mean...You've got to cover your bases, right?! LOL..Hehehe.
nectarine / 2932 posts
@HolisticMama: I would do it today. Chances of conceiving O-1 are better than O date.
ETA: I say this because if you get a positive tonight you may not ovulate until later tomorrow. I would get two days of positives with my O being on the second date.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: Welcome! I'll put you down for the 24th!
@HolisticMama: I would do EOD!
@septca: Hope you get passed to the next round! Do you want me to move your POAS date?
@Eko: Any update?
All of your knitting/crocheting bees are awesome! I used to crochet a little when I was young but I really sucked lol. I would love to get back into it!

pear / 1846 posts
@HolisticMama: personally i'm a believer in every day when you get close to O. I get it about low sperm count but (warning about disgusting imagery) If it is all going to go in you anyway does it mater if it goes in all at once or on two separate days? Plus if you don't do it for some reason or he can't finish one day it isn't a big deal because you will have done it the day before anyway...
