I bought pads yesterday while grocery shopping just in case, and ordered the fertility monitor so it'll arrive on CD 3, and I can start using it on CD 4 just in case. Welp, AF arrived today on CD 28.
Officially a rollover.

Taking a page from @Lady Hibiscus: what are the nursery items you are coveting? I love that round crib she posted, it's so unique! Though it would eat up most of the space in our "baby room", I'm sure! I am really loving the soft grays and pinks and whites for baby girls rooms and the nautical theme for little boys, but we are renting right now and are not allowed to paint the walls! They are currently a decent beige, so we will have to work around that.

No like rolling over. Especially since I'm so sore from pilates yesterday. -_-
@dc yoga bee: I really look forward to hearing about your experience with the fertility monitor.

@Mrs.Panda: I want to paint the nursey with faux leaves:
http://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/styles-and-techniques/faux-finishing/artisan-impressions/sw-article-dir-leaf.html
Maybe a chair rail- a earth green on top and a tan/beige on bottom?
And this border from the Grand Californian Hotel in Disneyland, where we stayed on our honeymoon:
The border part would only really work if we had a girl, I suppose.

Thanks everyone! I'm totally okay. DH and I went for a walk downtown, saw where a new Barre studio is going to open in a few weeks (Barre within walking distance!!!!!), we got breakfast at a little family restaurant ($4.65 for a short stack in the DMV???), and then had a non-chaotic time grocery shopping at Whole Foods before walking back home. We had a great morning! My POAS date for next month will be Valentine's Day as long as I O by CD 17 !That sounds pretty cool to me!

@dc yoga bee: Love, love love your morning.....sounds perfect!!!!! Its little moments spent like that that remind me as much as a cant wait to have a baby, I am pretty happy with what I have in my life right now!!!! Enjoy your day, come on V Day Baby!!!! :))))

What a beautiful print holisticmama. So I had an extra frer that I used and it looks to be negative still. No BFp this month- fingers crossed for everyone else!!! Still having cramps - guessing AF is around the corner.

@Lady Hibiscus: Blargh. I've been thinking about you this morning. How hard it would be to get your hopes up so much just to have them brought down so quickly. I bet those few hours were pretty neat though!

@dc yoga bee: sorry about AF but I'm glad you are feeling good and had a beautiful morning. So excited for you to try the monitor and get a Valentine you'll never forget!!!
I'm only 1 DPO and I already feel like a crazy person! Last night I felt strangely nauseous and weird twinges. I'm sure it's all in my head. It's so funny how the TWW has a placebo effect on you.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: I'm sorry honey. Still hoping its early and you get a BFP soon. No AF leaves things open!

@holisticmama- luckily I was too shocked to internalize it. I am a naturally skeptical person so I guess it helped me in this instance :).
@Dc yoga bee- so sorry about a.f. next month will be our month hopefully. Your morning sounded wonderful!?So nice to be able to walk places. Really miss living in the city.

Apparently shaving all the things will do me NO good! Hubs is sick and refuses to do me! Booo!
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Adira: AAARRGGHH! So now you are left with itchiness with no reason?! BOO!
I hope he feels better soon.
After ovulation..I was like..."Hm..Nope. Don't like this. No more shaving. LOL"
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@HolisticMama: Seriously! The itchiness in this particular area is the worst!!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@HolisticMama: @Adira: been there, itched that, lol. It always looks so good for a day or two, but the itchiness after is torture!
@HolisticMama: I'm visiting that hotel tomorrow!

@Adira: oh man! What a butthead. Have you tried lingerie or wearing something sexy with a little makeup. My husband responds well to that. Stockings with garters, a bra and panties and one of his dress shirts has served me well.
pomelo / 5720 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: what a bummer!
@Adira: boo! Hopefully he'll be in the mood later. I can't imagine shaving everything down there for any reason, if if it does help with TTC. Way to itchy for me. Lol
@MrsMccarthy: the craziness that is the TWW...brutal.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I totally do NOT know how to pull lingerie off. I had a lingerie shower, and that was a total waste of people's money. Never wore the stuff, and that was 25lbs ago!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I love all your outfit suggestions! I'm taking notes for my O week next week.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: I bet you would look amazing in lingerie! You just have to find the right stuff for you. Even if it's but lacy boy shorts and a bra, that totally counts. I have a couple of baby doll tops that are lace and really cute and I feel comfortable in them
Also your morning sounds so nice! I like Whole Foods but it's far and I think kind of expensive for everyday things. But maybe that's just in my brain because I shop at Publix and they are not the cheapest. Now I'm craving coconut water...
nectarine / 2358 posts
@HolisticMama: I love that border! So earthy and peaceful, I really like it! It could work for a boy, too. Maybe just paint like turtles or monkeys or something up there
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I'd die for Publix again. Every.single.grocery.store here has moldy produce...except Whole Foods. I'm talking within 3 days oranges, bananas, grapes, apples, MOLD. So, it becomes way more expensive to have to throw them out. So, we do all our grocery shopping at a regular grocery store, and get all produce at Whole Foods since it's super tasty, and not moldy. I just had an orange from 2 weeks ago from Whole Foods. Super juicy. Not that I advocate keeping fruit for 2 weeks, but with Whole Foods you can do just that!

@dc yoga bee: Hit the 'burbs for Wegmans! Though, it's probably too far from you. Wegmans is my #2 favorite thing about moving off of the Hill.

@Weagle: We're actually getting a Wegmans TBD 2014. It's going to be onnnn!

@dc yoga bee: OMG, where? Granted, mine would still be closer to me, but I might cross over to VA more if I could grocery shop there too.

I just found another article that it won't be opening until 2015 now womp womp womp. But, Alexandria. Everything's better on the VA side anyways

@littlek: We "accidentally" moved to MD when we first got here. Knowing all my family is from NOVA. We broke our lease, and moved to NOVA!

@dc yoga bee: I LOVE WEGMAN'S. When I was in PA for a business trip- I went 3 times a day. Seriously. And when my dad moved from CT to CA- I made him stop at Wegman's. LOL.
I shop at Whole Foods now in Colorado.

Omg- so jealous of our access to wegmans. The first week I moved down south I asked the guy at publix where the creme fraiche was and he looked me like I had 10 heads. Whole foods is good and all but for there is no replacement for wegmans. They have since started carrying creme fraiche ( because of yours truly )
Kind of happy I didn't tell DH about the phantom BFP-- last night around 1AM DH started having chest pains so we went to the ER. Kind of shook me up- turned out it was just something viral- but still scary nonetheless . Made me realize all the things I should be thankful for. Fortunate to be happy, healthy and in love. The rest comes when it comes!
You guys are daring with the shaved look-- I did it once and DH was a little creeped out and turned off. Said it looked too prepubescent on me. I did however get a Brazilian laser hair removal via groupon. Best thing I ever did. No waxing, shaving or ingrowns ever again. I have black hair light skin so any hair is noticeable. So nice to be able to put on sexy lingerie and not think twice about shaving or waxing.
