@Lady Hibiscus: Curious about laser too... I'm assuming you did less than full Brazilian since you said DH wasn't a fan of the look? Not sure I would withstand lasering all but I would definitely consider the sides. I use to be a consistent Brazilian-er but after a friend got an infection after getting one, I swore never to do it again. And I haven't.

@crystal and @lindsay- I got a Brazilian with a landing strip. You basically shave how you want it and then they laser around it. In the beginning it feels like a small rubber band flicking your skin. Then as they increase the intensity it hurts a little more. Like a pinching feeling. If you have ever gotten a Brazilian wax, laser removal is a walk in the park. Even with waxing, I always sprayed my skin with Bactine 15 minutes before. That numbs the skin and prevents infection. I used the same technique when laser removal got uncomfortable. The hair falls out in about a week. I needed like 12 sessions on my armpits and 6 sessions on my Brazilian. I have very thick dark hair- I'm sure you would need less with finer thinner hair. am still too scared to get it on my face--- I'll probably go to an MD for that.

Sorry ladies, been a crazy few days. I have been sick. Tryin to catch up. Hugs to all of the roll overs. I will be joining you soon j am sure.
Question- any ladies experience breast pain or nipple pain? I normally get it as part of pms but only in left breast. For the las 3 months I have had it on and off in th left and dull in the right. It is almost right under nipples. My doc did a breast exam and everything felt fine. I have been coughing lots as my asthma and persistent bronchitis has been a pain iny butt, but would that cause that?!? Doc suggested hormones balancing but I stopped the pill in August. Somedays it's tire point anything outside a sports bra is unbearable. The shower stream can hurt on my nipple etc.
Advice?? I tried putting lotion on it yesterday thinking maybe they are dry...

@Lady Hibiscus: do you mind me asking how much you paid? I've looked around, and prices seem to be anywhere from 400-2500 for six sessions.
@MrsScottish: can they do some hormone testing? That seems strange.
My nipples hurt before I got my BFP, but that's the only time.... Unless (TMI) I've been doing some rough BDing or wearing an ill fitting bra.

It's pathetic for me to be doing this at 1DPO but I'm EXHAUSTED today. Was all day. Hmmmm...

@MrsMccarthy: what were your symptoms like for your first pregnancy? We're you exhausted right away?
I'm keeping my FX this is your month!

Okay ladies....wtf. This is what I got this morning. Any chance it's right?? I don't even know why I decided to test but I am completely shocked. This is CD 26.
bananas / 9229 posts
@bushelandapeck: I O around CD19-21 so a + on CD26 isn't that crazy. I've had cycles where I've Oed late around CD28+ too. Get going lady!!

@LindsayInNY: what's the difference between a blinking smily and a solid one? This one was solid. I have never had a cycle longer than 30 days...this is so strange!
bananas / 9229 posts
@bushelandapeck: I don't use clear blue OPKs so I'm not sure. From what I've read from others, I think blinking means almost peak and you're approaching O whereas solid means peak.

@MrsMccarthy: Me too....lol. but I have a bad cold.....so I was posted in bed all day.... only reason I'm up now is for our last IUI!!!

@bushelandapeck: Have you tried a pregnancy test? You may be pregnant
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@bushelandapeck: You are supposed to get about 3 days of flashing and then 2 days of solid. The flashing is "high" and the solid is "peak."
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@FaithFertility: Good luck!!!!
@bushelandapeck: Blinking is high fertility, almost peak. Solid is peak fertility.
pomelo / 5720 posts
@littlek: gah! No I haven't....I'm going to wait until the AM for that. I am so nervous! I never got the blinking ones because I stopped testing.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@bushelandapeck: Ditto @LittleK. If you think you already O'd maybe take a pregnancy test just to be sure? I'm pregnant and tried my clearblue digital opk for fun yesterday and got a solid smiley
It's a stretch but worth trying to rule it out!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@bushelandapeck: Second morning urine is almost better then FMU. I'd test.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@bushelandapeck: the only problem with the digital is you need to take it consistently so it compares day over day. So it's not very realizable since you haven't used it consistently.
pomelo / 5720 posts
@littlek: yeah, in realized that I'm just not cut out for the OPKs. I can do FMU for the CBEFM but taking a test in the evening doesn't work for me.
@FaithFertility: @SweetiePie: thanks! I'll plan to test in the AM and get back to you all!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@bushelandapeck: personally I don't like the digital OPK because I don't think it was very accurate for me. I prefer the cheapies were you can see the lines fade in and out..

Is anyone else having a rough couple of days at work? I know it's Monday, but I worked this weekend and people were snippy and just plain rude. Also I felt out of sorts for some reason, like I was scatter brained. Maybe it's just me trying to balance school, work and TTC, ugh.
cherry / 108 posts
@crystal I got a crazy groupon that was unlimited laser treatments for one year $499. I have not seen a deal as good as that again.. sometimes you can negotiate with them if you want more than one zone. Go for a consultation (which should be free and they can test your skin) and sometimes they have deals going on if business is slow.
@bushelandpeck- hope the smiley face is promise of something great tomorrow! Good luck!!!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Crystal: well I was traveling so its hard to qualify. Also I am kind of insane. Could all be in head. Wouldn't it be nice it f wasn't though.
@bushelandapeck: oh my gosh you must be preggers!!!! Holding out hope that there's a sticky little baby in there.
@FaithFertility: yay! I hope BFP is on the horizon for you!!!
@Mrs.Panda: I'm so so sorry you are having a rough day. I just woke up here on the west coast. Hoping to have a good one. I hope your day improves.
I'm guessing that the lack of BFPs means we have a big wave coming!!! COME ON BFPs!!!!!
pomelo / 5720 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: thanks!
@MrsMccarthy: thank you! I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Who knows, maybe my cycle is crazy from the m/c. Who knows...
cherry / 119 posts
Hi everyone! I get so behind on these threads because they move so fast! I'm just checking in and saying hi. Any more BFPs??? And big hugs to anyone rolled over to next month
I'm in the TWW and feeling pessimistic. I know this is crazy because it's impossible, but I just wish someone could tell me that I would get pregnant someday. If I knew it would happen I would relax about when a little bit. I am just becoming more and more afraid that it won't happen at all. sigh.
@Mrs.Panda: Work is pretty "meh" today. No one came in today because of the MLK holiday so it is quiet. It's kind of nice that the work idiots aren't here, but I do miss my work buddies! At least I can sneak in a little HB posting though It sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I think anyone would feel out of sorts! Hang in there!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@bushelandapeck: Did you get a confirmed solid smiley earlier this month?
pomelo / 5720 posts
@Crystal: nope but I stopped testing over a week ago. I wasn't being consistent so I figured there wasn't much point. We DTD pretty much EOD since CD 15 so I assumed we covered my typical O window and after. DH was gone during CD 12-14 but we managed to BD before and after.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Mrs. Chickadee: awww I'm so so sorry honey. I feel the same way about my secondary fertility. I really hope you get your BFP this month so you can stop worrying and enjoy.
cherry / 119 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Thanks for the support! I hope you get your BFP soon! It's so hard waiting!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@bushelandapeck: I hate to say it, then maybe you did O late. I know my first cycle post mc, my cycle was substantially longer. It could be you really are O'ing now... I hope it's a sticky baby though!
bananas / 9229 posts
@bushelandapeck: Ditto @Crystal: - my first post-chemical cycle was longer than usual too. It ended up being 50 days.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs. Chickadee: oh lady, I'm sorry. I'm feeling the same way- I just want to know I can carry a baby. Hugs. I hope this is your month. When is your POAS date?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: thanks for sharing your experience! Did it a really get rid of the hair? Or do you still have so spot shave?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
Question:
I know I'm overthinking this, but I had EWCM this morning, even though OPKs haven't gotten dark yet. We BD at like 1am this morning. Would you BD tonight too? Or wait til tomorrow?
How long between seeing EWCM did you see a positive OPK?
