@sarahnicole218: just wanted to pop in and say that I'm sorry for your diagnosis, but all hope is not lost!! There are a lot of people in the hive who have dealt with PCOS, so there's lots of wisdom to share, if you've got questions. PCOS is a pain (I have it mildly), but hopefully the Metformin, or the Metformin and the Clomid, do the trick!

I've been so bad at keeping up with board, I'm sorry guys I'm just having such a hard time with charting and am just starting to feel frustrated about it all.
A week ago I got an OPK that looked like this picture, then the next day it was gone. Consensus seemed to be that I probably ovulated that night and would've gotten a darker positive later on.
Well, since then my temps have evened out, but they haven't been rising - my fertility friend chart isn't even showing that ovulation occurred. And then yesterday I got this OPK pictured below, which also looks like it's almost positive. Sometimes I do ovulate late in the month, so we BDed last night just in case, but I'm just struggling with this whole process.
Here's my chart...what do you more experienced charters think? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/wonderstruck

@littlek: I know every person is so different but the month I got my BFP with LO I was so super sick so we only BD once during my fertile window. I just gave up hope for a BFP so I caved and went to the pharmacy to get the heavy duty sudafed. I was a little freaked out when I got a BFP 2 weeks later but the OB's office assured me the sudafed had no adverse effects that early on

@Mrs.Panda: Want to put me down for January 31st? Unless AF shows up before that, I'll test then, even though there's no hope for me, haha.

Lot's to catch up on - you ladies are fast! Loving all the symptom spotting
I've only used the the clear blue digital opk's but I bought the advanced version to try for the next 2 cycles and a basal thermometer. Going to whole foods for some Royal Jelly - kinda running out of new things to try lol
Super hopeful for the next 10 days, I feel like we're going to have a boom of BFP's

@HolisticMama: Yoga!!! I took a month off for the holidays, so it felt sooo good to get on my mat last night. I'm going to try to really stay regular with my practice this next cycle. Control the stress!

@wonderstruck: what happens when you put the +OPK from yesterday into FF?
persimmon / 1167 posts
@wonderstruck: :: hugs :: Ugh. It is frustrating. I had the same thing happen to me this month. But I didn't get to BD, because DH is feeling stressed about his job situation.
I am right there with you in the struggle. You aren't alone!

@sarahnicole218: I'm so sorry about your diagnosis but glad you at least know what's going on. A lot of women with PCOS have gotten pregnant on here so i wouldn't be at a surprised if you are! FX!
@Crystal you may be ovulating right now or have just done so. I know a lot of people who say a dark morning OPK usually means the surge was from the previous night! Get BD!!!
@littlek: I hope you are one of the lucky ones. Many people only have to go for it once or twice and get their BFP. Feel better soon!
@Adira: I hope you get some answers soon!
@HolisticMama: sorry your hubs is not cooperating. I wish that somedays too. We didn't DTD on O+1 because he for all annoying and told me I had to play chess with him first. I was tired and had a headache and hardly felt like DTD much less chess with a fussy toddler. I told him to suck it!! Hahah hopefully our timing was good enough the other days.
@wonderstruck: can you take another OPK tonight and another tomorrow morning? Just keep taking me every four hours or so till they get lighter. Maybe you are Oing late. That first one doesn't seem positive. The second one looks close if not positive.
I hope we get a wave of BFPs soon!!!

@LovelyPlum: I just went back and added it...nothing really. Changed to saying I'm probably fertile, but I think it does that whenever I enter a positive ovulation test.
@HolisticMama: My DH wasn't really in a BDing mood either...I had to talk him into it. I'm sorry you haven't gotten to BD this month =(
@MrsMccarthy: I will take another one soon, thank you!

@dc yoga bee: YES! THIS! The only problem is that, after dealing with an unexplained and highly frustrating foot injury for ages, I'm just getting back into it. I go to a hot yoga studio here, and am pretty sure that I'd have to stop going (aka move to non-heated classes) if I get pregnant soon. But, it's totally worth it in the meantime. Nothing makes me feel as good!!

@mfa_lady: A local studio is having a special 10 classes for $99! I almost clicked buy to use them in April. Buttt, what if I'm pregnant in April?! I already bought a month of barre classes for Feb/Mar, so I need something for April. Dilemma Dilemma. And they have a strict- no refunds/extensions for any reason whatsoever. Although, I hear of pregnant women doing bikram the whole 9 months
ETA: I too have an unexplained foot injury, that I developed while half marathon training in 2011. I didn't get hurt or anything, and had fitted shoes from the running store, so they weren't old or ill-fitting. Who knows!

@dc yoga bee: YES! I am currently trying to figure out the best plan, too, for TTC. It's like, I don't want to jinx myself, but I don't want to waste money either!
I used to do Bikram pre-foot injury, and they say you can keep going if you've had a regular practice for 6 months pre-pregnancy. I HOPE I won't make it six months before a little babe is growing!
The foot thing is a huge pain, and nothing "happened" to me, either...just all of a sudden my foot was sore and super swollen! I was running and Bikram-ing at the time. Who knows is right!

@cmbknyc: I'm hoping your wish for BFP during the rest of this month sprinkles sticky baby dust on all of us waiting to test.
Iv decided to test tomorrow morning. I will be 11dpo and I usually have an 11-12 day Luteal Phase... so it may be a little early. Other than the fact that I'm awfully gassy (sorry, tmi) I'm not having any symptoms really... so I'm almost thinking AF is on her bitchy little way... but we shall see!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@mfa_lady: I was Bikram-ing too during that time! So weird! I think the studio has some 85 degree classes, which are much milder than the 115 degrees. I mean I guess I could do that? I don't know. I totally want to buy those classes though! I just know i won't be ready for them until April.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@dc yoga bee: That's so weird! To this day I can't do the second and third parts of Awkward pose. I just have to do the flat-footed part for all three sections. So lame. Good luck deciding - workout places always get me with great deals!!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@mfa_lady: @dc yoga bee: I think the planning for the future is one of the hardest parts!
Like someone was saying yesterday, it would be easier if someone was able to tell you when you would get pregnant- then you would know how to plan!
DH and I are debating a vacation right now for the very same reason.
@MrsMccarthy: It wasn't quite as dark as the control line, but darker than it was a few days ago, so I am hoping for a blaring + sometime soon! I will be sure to BD every day just in case!
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@Crystal: This is so true! You may be like me right now after a loss, too - for basically every date I think "I should have been 7 months pregnant by then" immediately followed by "but maybe instead I'll be 8 weeks?"
This stuff messes with my brain. Big time!

@Crystal: I really wanted to cruise in the middle of the summer, but decided to plan it for our anniversary in March. That way if we are lucky and pregnant I'll be wellll within the 24 week limit. If not, we can try on the boat

This thread moves so fast it is crazy! (and hard to keep up!) It sounds like there are people with some promising symptoms though so my fingers are extra crossed that we get a whole slew of bfps in the next ten days.
I had anticipated ovulating tomorrow (cd15) and being able to start poas by the end of the month but my opks are still quite faint so who knows what is going on there. I started taking vitex this cycle so perhaps that is messing with it? It is also my first time using wondfos so maybe I will get a great positive tonight? My dog keeps waking me up in the middle of the night so I technically have had a temp spike of half a degree for 3 days but I am 99% sure I have not ovulated and that waking up multiple times a night is just enough to raise my temp.
@HolisticMama: That list is great, I really appreciate it. I was talking to my husband and I was all in a tizzy convinced I need medical intervention for ttc and he strongly encouraged me to think about the holistic things I could do first. The only things that came to mind were things I was already doing or blatantly don't want to do (um gluten free...) so I appreciate a list for starting my research.
pomegranate / 3791 posts
@MrsMccarthy: You were right!! Just took another OPK and it is for sure positive, no question about it like there was with the other two - with this one the test line was even darker than the control line. Good thing I talked DH into BDing last night, haha!
My late ovulation is pushing my test date into February though, so I'm going to need to change my test date.
