We are working on finalizing our taxes and in following instructions for the ATC, it says "Please see form 8839 for eligible documentation". I went to form 8839 but it doesn't seem to say what documents I need to submit. I am assuming the decree, but anything else to avoid delays?

Did you go to IRS.gov and look up that form.

@T.H.O.U.: of course I did ;). There's pretty big controversy in the adoption forums about what to send. Previous years required the decree and this year there is no request for documents as far as I can tell.
