My husband was scammed when buying a dog. Sad, but true. Jokes on them - she may not be REMOTELY what was advertised, but she is the best dog ever and we rescued her from a horribly abusive situation.

I sold most of my furniture after graduating college. Someone paid for my table and chairs in advance, to be picked up before I had to move and then I couldn't get in touch with them. I had to leave the furniture behind. I still kind of wonder what happened.
My mom left an old semi broken toilet in front of the house with a free sign and sure enough someone took it. People will take anything for free!
