So LO, the hubs, and I will be flying to Vegas in about a month and she'll be 9 months old. We're going out because hubs does IT work and will be helping with a friend's business. At the moment, C's not crawling, so I don't know how squirmy she'll be when the time comes.

Luckily for us, the flight is only about an hour (we live in Orange County, and we're flying out of Long Beach on JetBlue), so our first airplane trip with baby won't be a long one. I've read on different sites (including this one!) to have mom & dad select the window & aisle seats in a row of three, leaving the middle (and least desirable) seat left, hoping that no one selects it. Then, if someone does sit there, I could always switch and offer him/her the window seat.

Would this be needed on such a short flight? Our friend, who bought the tickets, also upgraded us to the "extra space" seats, which give us a little more legroom. Should I just choose seats together or should I try the window/aisle strategy?
