I think it depends how far along you are...if you're in your 3rd tri, esp after 32 weeks, I think most doctors wouldn't want you traveling for long periods of time on a plane (and I don't know how comfortable you would be on a long flight). 1st or 2nd tri is probably fine to do that trip--of course, each pregnancy is different and complications can come up at any point, but hopefully that wouldn't happen!

My OB's practice is to limit travel after 34 weeks (for a normal pregnancy, of course). I think every OB is different though!

I would just go along with my TTC timeline and determine if we're in a position to travel when there's more information.

I personally was fine travelling all through my pregnancy, but you never know.

Sounds like it would be a great time/occasion to go! I don't know where you live, but I will say from the East Coast, flying to Asia is quite the flight. You will likely have to deal with swollen legs & feet, etc.

I was supposed to go to Seoul with my mom during my 2nd trimester, but I ended up not going because it wasn't really a necessary trip, and I had a friend who miscarried when she went to Asia late in her 2nd trimester (this obviously might have been a coincidence but she was convinced it was because of the travel). Ultimately, the decision is up to you and your doctor. If you do go, enjoy, HK is awesome!!

Hong Kong is amazing! It would be a really fun trip, especially in Spring before the Summer heat rolls in.

I would go, and buy travel insurance, just in case
