@daniellemybelle: haha okay okay. @artbee: That would have been so funny! I think they sound really cute together. Do you have other girl names picked out in case next LO is a girl?

@Coco Bee: Zoey is actually our top contendor right now! Hubs likes the idea of picking a name that has a cute nickname so Z or Zoe worked well for him.

@Running Elley: I love Samuel (sam). Someone else in our family used it though Is Faye a family name, or do you guys just like it?
    @lovelife: I really like Logan!

A boy name was easy for us because we want a Junior. So Jason Jay Lastname Jr. - Last name starts with a J too so we kinda had to go with the junior, it's too cute not to!

We're not pregnant or even TTC yet but my husband is convinced we'll have a boy and truthfully, my gut reaction is the same thing.

In the event we have a girl or have more than 1 child, the girl name is a little tougher... Recently, I've been stuck on Quinn. We got engaged in Aquinnah (Martha's Vineyard) and want to retire there one day. My husband like Aquinnah as a name but I think it might be a little too out there. And would be weird if we end up retiring there and our daugher's name is the name of a town? I liked Quinn because it's short for Aquinnah without having to do the whole "her name is Aquinnah but we call her Quinn" nickname deal.

@jessiejo17: Nolan is a great name! I named my LO that. I love it!

@hilsy85: I really like it too!!! It's definitely my front runner Faye is my middle name, which is my great grandmother's name. Joshua is DH's name so we've got our middle names set! He doesn't want to pick until the baby is born though. He wants to have 2 or 3 options after we find out the gender and pick when we see the baby. Arghhhh.

I love the name Audrey so much. I'm not such a fan of Layla/Leila because it makes me think of Lola which makes me think of "Her name was Lola, she was a show girl..." but I'm probably the only one who thinks that

For a boy we like Isaac Jared and for girls we like Ainsley Elizabeth, Hazel Melissa, Violet Grace, and Lila Kay.

@Running Elley: I agree with him actually! I don't wnat to have a name set in stone--I want to have options, and then see which one LO looks like most

@Running Elley: Thanks! I also feel like Audrey and Brandon sound really good together.

@SusieQ: Ha I made that connection with Lola, which is a name I considered briefly, but I guess it doesn't bother me as much with Leila/Layla.

@belleoftheballe: Everytime someone has a baby, I hold my breathe when waiting for the name to make sure no one steals it! So far so good, it hasn't really become popular around here, fingers crossed we aer good for the next 23 weeks!

@SusieQ: haha I liked Lola for awhile and DH would only sing that song...I guess that was his way of responding 'Absolutely Not'. I think it's cute!

@hilsy85: not yet. We name after deceased relatives, and sadly my grandma's are getting older and one is in hospice. Of course I'd rather have them than their names, but I just want to wait before deciding.

I feel like we are having a hard time picking names! We have talked about names for YEARS, well before we were pregnant and rarely agreed.... We have a little list going, and ideally, I'd like to get down to a couple boys and girls names, then when the baby is here decide for sure. Having a REALLY hard time with boys names, here's where we are:

    BOY:
    Coen or Cohen
    Owen
Blaise -- probably a middle name, it's a family name

    GIRL:
Coralie / Cora <--- my fave right now!
    Blake
    Ryan
    Emerson
    Amelia
    Everly

@Coco Bee: so many great names on your list!! i LOVE the name Gemma but my husband hates it I also love Asher for a boy...

I'm pretty sure for our little girl we are going with...
    Charli Ann
    My husband also likes
    Emelia Ann

I don't think Charli is too popular either. Not that I have heard anyway!

For girls, I like names that end in -ley. At the top of my list are Brinley, Riley, and Ainsley.

For boys, I like Gavin, Everett, or Noah. Middle name Michael, for my dad.

@eiko2010: I love Noah, Dh doesn't so much.

@lilteacherbee: Oh I love Dean too! If we were going to have a boy he was either going to be Jude Timothy or Bennett Dean. Dean seems like such a cool, confident name to me.

We are having a girl and the names on our list are:

    Hazel
    Willa
    Agnes (Aggie)
    Sylvie
    Maxine (Max)
    Coraline/Coralie/Cora
