I'm looking for an all-terain stroller expecting to use it on hard packed trails and on the beach. Would like to be able to use with britax chaperone carseat. I already have a b-agile so it doesn't need to be light weight or easy to transport. It doesnt need to be a jogging stroller. Anyone have one they love?

I used a Bob on a few easy trails. It was okay. I would not recommend a stroller on the beach unless it's really packed-down sand or maybe pebbles. I've yet to see someone successfully/gracefully navigate a stroller on the beach, and I've seen a lot of people try. Even the beach wheelchairs look tough to negotiate through loose sand, and those have tires that are 5 inches or so wide. I used a baby carrier and a backpack to haul LO and our stuff on to the beach. I would highly recommend that combo.

The only way I have seen someone use a stroller at the beach was to pull it on the two back wheels, rather than push it.

We love our BOB but I'm not sure anything would really work on a beach, unfortunately.

I have a Bugaboo Buffalo and it is all terrain. There is a functionality where you can push all four wheels together for sand and snow. Although, the one time I was at the beach with it the basket was so full that I couldn't empty it to try it (I was by myself with both LOs).

We have the double BOB, and it is a great all-terrain stroller... but it was very very very difficult to push on the beach! If the BOB can't do it, I don't know if any stroller can.

I love love our Bob, but like others said it doesn't work great on loose sand. I use it on wet sand (the harder packed stuff) and sandbars though all the time and it pushes like a dream. I love how big the tires are - it means the saltwater doesn't touch the frame when I'm walking between sandbars. I always give it the wheels a quick rinse after our walk... we walk the sandbars daily in the summer and after a year I haven't noticed any rust.

The Bumbleride Indie is supposed to be an awesome all-terrain stroller! I don't have one yet, but I want to purchase one. It has 12 inch air filled tires that can handle almost any terrain.

I love the city mini GT, we haven't taken it to the beach, but we've used it on chipped trails and it was great.

We've taken our BOB to the beach, and it was good on wet sand but still sucked on dry sand. Make sure you rinse it off well after, though.

I have the Bumbleride Indie and it's awesome. We had 100+ inches of snow in Boston and it took it like a champ. Trails with lots of rocks and roots are no problem either. As for the beach, we haven't tried it, but I think it would only work if the sand was firm or even wet.

My Bugaboo Chameleon actually handles pretty well on grass, trails, and cobblestone, including when these surfaces are wet or snowy. I've managed it on sand by tipping it up onto the back wheels (and I believe it can fold up to roll only on these wheels if you'd like, but I've always just tipped).
I mention this stroller because while it might not tick the boxes as perfectly as some of the others (like the Bumbleride Indie, which I don't hear of a lot of people actually owning, or the Bugaboo Buffalo, which is fairly new), it is a very popular stroller and has been around in some way shape or form for at least 10 years...meaning it's easy to find used, if that is helpful for your budget (or if you'd just feel better being hard on a stroller when it's not brand new).
