I swear, the feel of the stuff just makes my skin crawl! I have been searching for a Boppy cover that's not too babyish (just something that won't be an eyesore in the living room), but everything solid or subtle is backed with minky! Anyone else not like the stuff?

I dislike it. All of the microfiber plastics just make my skin dry out and really cracked. I think that might be the skin crawling feeling bc I feel the same way when I touch them - it's soft but I just associate it with my dry, cracked skin now.

Do you need a whole Boppy or just a cover? I bought an Orla Kiely one from Target for the same reasons, but I don't think they sell just the cover.

I don't really like it either, but more because I don't like most plush fabrics because I am hot all the time and live in a hot climate.
ETA - I second looking on etsy.
