I still use facebook, but I don't post photos. I'll post links to blog posts or flickr albums if I want to share. I don't like that they make you feel like it's safe and private and then constantly change the privacy settings. I just got annoyed and pulled all my photos (and I had a ton).

@Bao: under privacy settings there is a whole group of timeline and tagging options.

A friend of mine set up her FB so that only family members can see photos of her baby and photos cannot be shared or tagged without permission. I suppose someone could save the photo and re upload it, though. She added me as a cousin so I could see baby photos but it did severely limit who sees photos of her kid!

@blackbird: I will have to figure out how to do that! I would like to delete my Facebook, but I kind of like to have it to monitor what my MIL and DH's aunt are posting. Your friend's solution sounds like a good idea!

We created a private family group and requested that photos only be shared there.
