It won't bother either of us at all if E turns out to be gay, although we both hope he doesn't--it would be a harder life for him, and that's the only reason.

@FutureMrsMcK: DH and I always talk about LO's future and we both don't care if she's gay or straight--we just want her to give us grandbabies!

This is awesome. I wish that my father had been this way when my brother came out. Don't get me wrong, he was fine about it, but he was not amazing.

I love this. This is exactly how I want/plan to be with my children. No matter what sexual orientation, passion, profession, religion they choose to be, I will love them unconditionally and accept them for who they are. Period. It makes me feel so good when I see parents doing the same thing.

love this! i have a gay friend who lives with his partner and they have been together for 10 years and still he hasn't come out to his parents, it's so sad and this letter made me more sad for my friend's situation.
