A friends' son was in a four wheeler accident. He's okay but banged up and bruised pretty good. I want to send some stuff through Amazon but I feel like it's a super hard age to shop for. 9 year old boy.

Legos, some of the Smart Games logic games like IQ Focus (rated by age and buy the ones that are for/include his age, because the age ratings are right), Snap Circuits (these can be $$), a Red Toolbox building kit, model airplanes (if he can move somewhere that can be ventilated properly), or books on CD)/an Audible subscription?

Stuff I've gotten my 8 yo nephew that he loved:
Books about cool stuff- weird and interesting fact books

Games (I like thinkfun games: tip over, rush hour- all on amazon)
Brain teasers (again a whole bunch on amazon with diff price levels)
Comic books and chapter books (but you'd have to know what he likes ) -
I ended up getting him a perplexus and a national geo sticker book for kids! Thanks ladies!
