Are you getting any deals with the 20% amazon mom event?
I was so excited to get extra savings for all the gear I need for starting solids next month, but none of the products I want are included in the sale. I'm pretty dissapointed. I wanted the fisherprice booster seat, Kidco baby food mill, Mumi &Bubi ice cube trays, Fresh & freeze storage jars, Dr brown storage jars... and a few other items also not included.

I am still confused about the discount here...I read that on the 17th, today, I would get a coupon emailed to me? And I wasn't sure if it was a coupon for any baby items or just the formula/diapers...So I haven't done anything with it yet because I've been waiting on this coupon.

@jholler25: The promo code can be used on any products included in the event, from what I can see disposable diapers are not included, neither is formula

I've been waiting to buy a highchair, and will be getting the Boon chair through this event! Also getting one of the 7am enfant stroller bunting bags.
I saw the Motorola monitor is also included in this sale, which is a great deal for anyone who is considering getting one as these monitors seem to be excluded from Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us coupons!

@mediagirl: There was a link in the Amazon Mom section that said 'Details' and listed all the products.

@mediagirl: if you go to an item, too, it'll say if it's included. for instance I checked out the baby jogger carseat adapter and it has a somewhat large thing next to it saying it qualifies for the amazon mom event
I'm going to order the new 2012 model carseat adapter for the city mini! I figure I can return if necessary, but no stores near me sell it to try out. And getting it for $15 off manufacturer's price is great since it's never included in any coupons!
Not sure what else. We don't really *need* anything..LO isn't here yet so I don't know what bottles she'll use, diapers wipes formula aren't included I guess, and we got just about everything else we needed at the shower.

I just got the email...And I clicked on the list of items eligible for the coupon and basically, as soon as you click on the item, it will say that it's eligible for the 20% coupon in a box right under the item description.
The Motorola video monitor is eligible...And some Aden and Anais stuff I noticed. I'll probably be getting the video monitor...

Yep got mine! Wish it didn't have the $100 cap - I'm ordering our Babyletto crib & Naturepedic mattress. Oh well, it helps offset the sales tax we pay from them (booo Kansas!).
If you click the link in the email, it takes you to the page and then you can browse brands on the side to see what is included.

I'm thinking I should use mine for some big stuff (like the motorola monitor)
We are hoping to get it from our registry but my shower isnt until first week of Nov. If we end up paying out of pocket the coupon will be expired.I think it might be a good idea to buy the big stuff using the coupon, keep it unopened, and then return it if someone gets it for us.
Does anyone see a problem with this? -

@Mrsbells: really? return shipping is always free for prime/mom members? I could have sworn I've paid in the past. I was freaking out about the car seat I returned over the weekend and whether I would have to pay for return shipping.

@travelingbrit: I think amazon's policy for electronics is 30 days. We bought a kindle and returned it and they didn't want to take it back bc it was longer than 30 days. I basically had to fight them tooth & nail and they eventually gave in bc we have a Prime account and they "value" us. And returns are always free with membership. Even with our Kindle debacle:) You just go to your purchase history and select the item and that you want to return it, and it will give you a shipping label to print.

@travelingbrit: If you buy products that are Prime Eligible then you get the free shipping and returns everytime. So not every single product on amazon is part of it. but all the amazon mom products are part of it
