I saw this on Facebook this morning. She looked gorgeous! I don't love the front of the dress, but I think it's so neat that she had her children's drawings sewn into the back of the gown and veil.
What do y'all think?

I don't really like it. I think the veil is sweet in theory but I don't like the colors.

I actually liked the front of the dress. And the veil too! Didn't love the back of it, thought it was a little much with the veil, but I think it's definitely sweet. Whatever floats her boat.

I like the idea of it, but think it could have been done better in execution.... I think if all the drawings had been one color and all pushed to the bottom and kinda blended or scattered upwards in an ombre effect it would have looked more like a design and less .... childlike? Again, I like the idea behind it!

The dress itself is not my style but I love the drawings on it! They make it so special. From what I read, the whole reason they decided to get married after all was for their kids so to put their childrens' mark (literally) on the dress is pretty cool.

I like the front and although I get the sentimental part of the kids drawing on the dress - I don't like the look of it at all!

I would've done the drawings in white/ivory, so that it looked like a lace design on the veil, a little more subtle.
But it's a cute idea!

I like it, for her! It's very simple/classic which I think is very her! And while the drawings aren't typical or do they make the dress look better, I think the sentiment is sweet

i am not a fan of hers so maybe if someone i liked did this i wouldn't think it was so.... bizarre? it feels kinda silly to me. and i don't find the front of the dress all that flattering on her. she is gorgeous but has definitely looked better, in my opinion.

The style of the dress is not for me but I love the little drawings. My son loves drawing too and I have so many pf his drawings and part of me thinks if I could I would wear his creations too so maybe thats why I like it so much

I love it! The entire reason they got married was for the kids, so why not? It's a beautiful memory. Her kids must feel special and loved.

I think it's a lovely idea but I don't like the dress particularly. It's the fabric I don't like - it looks like she bought it from one of those dodgy websites where they ship directly from China! But the drawing idea was super sweet.

I don't mind the dress. Not a fan of the drawings, but I feel like that is VERY specific to her and her wants. It's a sentiment not everyone can or will understand. I don't think she is trying to please anyone but her kids and that's awesome!

I'm not a fan at all, I feel like the style of dress is very dated. I like the idea in theory of the drawings, but it just comes off weird that it's only in the back and on her veil? I don't' know I was disappointed.

I really like the dress! I feel like we have done strapless for forever, the Catherine sleeve was big for a while, so to see spaghetti straps is pretty and different. Are the drawings embroidered in? If so I think that would be prettier in person and maybe didn't communicate as well in pictures.

I don't like the style of the dress (the front) but I like her veil and how she included her children in the design.
I didn't see her dress (the back) until today and it's definitely different and love that she made a dress that she loves and had her children's input/involvement in it.

I don't love the look and it's not something I would ever do, but she and I are obviously very different people 
I think it is very fitting for them and definitely makes a statement to their kids and the world that the wedding was about their family, which I really can't hate on!

I absolutely adore the sentiment. She obviously did it for her kids. I would have LOVED it if my mom had a dress of my drawings as a kid, I can't imagine how excited they must be over the wedding dress. I love that she didn't give a f--k about trends or what anyone else would think and did something special for her family.

@Arden: @Ra: Totally agree. My first thought was that this whole wedding was 100% for the kids (or so they say), so why not make the dress all about them too! I think it's very sweet and sentimental. I love the fact that she made their drawings the focus by having such a plain dress.

I hate the front...I think it looks kinda cheap and unflattering. And while I don't love the drawings on the back, I get why she did it. They wanted a low key, family focused wedding and the dress fits with that.

@TheSwissWifeStyle: I heard someone compare it to something you would see in a Delia's catalog back in the day. I'm not sure your age but I totally had sundresses that looked exactly like that from the front in like 2002. But maybe it's coming back in style? I think Angelina and her fancy designers and stylists would probably know better than me...
