So i started my period on Sunday it started half way during the day but turned into full flow, so would I start my clomid dose tonight? and then i have heard different things like if i take it days 3-7 on my CD i should ovulate 5-11 days after last dose if it works for me, i have read other post saying they start TTC a day after the last dose? I am just curious. Another thing do OPK's work pretty good? during this? thank you ladies! this stuff is confusing! i just want to get everything right and not do anything wrong!

@BrentLee88: are you seeing an RE? Mine spelled everything out for me as gave me instruction sheets.
It depends on your doctor. Mine considered full flow before 12:00pm to be CD1. Anything after 12, the following day would be CD1.
In fact, I wouldn't even get a Clomid script until I called the morning of my full flow.
Your RE should have given you instructions on taking OPKs, too.

@BrentLee88: I would recommend calling your RE. Every doctor has a different way of doing things and you will want to make sure you are following his way. It can impact follow-up testing.
I am of the belief that doctors work for YOU and that if you are confused you should feel more than comfortable calling him and asking. I would also want to know how my progesterone results from last cycle relate to my taking the Clomid.

Regarding your question about OPKs, I would suggest the Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation Test. They show you a smiley face the day of your LH surge. Although, make sure you get the pink ones (not the newer purple colored ones). I've read some things that the purple ones can have some errors and don't work as well. I usually purchase from Amazon, they're a bit cheaper. I've also always seen them at Target too. Good luck!

yeah i have been calling all day called twice and they still havent gotten back a hold of me about my blood work, and they close in 30 mins so idk if i should still take clomid or not. egh doctors i tell ya!

If you had a flow Sunday my RE would have said that is day #1 so Tuesday today is #3 start tonight!
It is sooo overwhelming at first...... just thought I'd remind you of that earlier post!

@FaithFertility: yeah i just got off the phone with the doctor she said to start it tonight days 3-7 and after my last dose i believe if i ovulate it would be 5-11 days after the last dose i am going to go get a pack full of OPK's to start testing a day after to be safe, hoping this works! my progesterone levels were 0.50 and she said i didn't ovulate last month at all, so i hope to god this helps! thank you!
