Ground beef (80% lean) $4.46lb
Broccoli $ 1.48 lb
Strawberries $1.98 lb
So what do things cost where you live?

It hurst too much to look at the price.
Ground beef is about $5-6 a pound.
Broccoli: I don't know. I just buy it. That's LOs favorite 'good' vegetable.
Strawberries are from $5-8 a container.

I honestly have no idea what "conventional" meats and veggies cost because the grocery stores near me mostly carry organic or specialty foods and I never feel like driving as far as the regular supermarkets. So I'm going to make an educated guess on some of these...
Ground beef: regular is $4-5/lb, organic is $8-9.
Broccoli: regular is $1.99/lb, organic is $2.99. I usually buy frozen at $2.39/16 oz bag unless I specifically need fresh.
Strawberries are $4/pint right now, $3 if you find a sale. In the winter, they're quite a bit more.
A half-gallon of regular milk is about $3, organic is $4.50-5.

@Jackiedavis87: oh, the broccoli...sometimes I buy frozen when it's 2 for $1, store brand. It is just as good as fresh (to me) and bonus it's cut and I only use what I need.

Ground beef (80% lean) anywhere from $1.50 or 1.99/lb (super sale at the local grocery store!) to $3.50/lb (normal price). For regular. Organic is like $8-9 a lb
Broccoli $ 1.99/lb I think
Strawberries $2 (on sale)-$3/lb. Might be able to find it for $1.50 a few times a year. Aldi's $1! I don't buy strawberries in winter, so maybe they're $4 or $5 then??
I am in the midwest- though in a major city (suburbs). Food (milk and meat) overall is noticeably cheaper at my parents house an hour away (a smaller sized town- 125k people)

In Iowa:
Ground beef (85% lean) :$2.48/pound
Broccoli: Not sure, usually around $1-1.50
Strawberries: $2.69 for 2 lb container

Broccoli: fresh is usually around $2 a head
Strawberries: $3-$4 per 1lb container
also avocados are $1 a piece and my friend in TX told me she gets them for $.50 .. I may have cried a little

@Mrs. Pickles: that's the sale price! Strawberries are everywhere right now, I forgot I bought a thing for .98$. I was super excited. Lol about the avocados I understand because I live for avacados, and they are not that price for very long.

From Walmart Grocery pick up in North Texas:
Ground beef (80%) - $4.38/lb
Broccoli - $1.34/lb
Strawberries - $2.28/lb

This is for a suburb of Boston. I'd say these were pretty average prices, but I shop at a local chain known for their good prices.

I literally couldn't even venture a guess. I just buy what we need and never even look at the price. My husband finds this to be endlessly amusing.

Ground beef ~3/lb
Broccoli 1.99/lb
Conventional strawberries are regularly $5/pt, but they're frequently on sale for BOGO or for $2-2.50/pt.
Organic strawberries are usually $7-8/pt and rarely go on sale.
A half gallon of organic milk ranges from $4.49-5.79 depending on brand and store.

Ground beef - We buy organic from Costco at $5-$5.25/lb
Broccoli $2.50-$3 head but we usually buy organic frozen from costco.
Strawberries $3
Organic milk is about $6/gallon
Gas was $1.97 at Costco yesterday (sorry thats not groceries!)

@Mrs. Pickles: We love when avocados are $1! At Costco they sometimes go like $5 for a bag of 6 but we find they dont aways ripen well.

ground beef - a 1lb package is $3.79/lb. their family pack is about 6lb and that is $2.29/lb.
broccoli - $1.79/lb
strawberries - 1lb is $3.49 and 2lb is $4.99
milk - 1 gallon store-brand whole milk is $3.72

Ground beef- $2.99 (special from Fresh Market on Tuesdays.) not organic but super tasty. I have no idea what organic would cost
Broccoli- always seems to be on sale for 99 cents/ lb
Strawberries- $2 in late spring and summer, usually $3-4 when they aren't in season
