It's easy to spot the first time mum with my posts lately!
A has some small, raised red spots on her bum.... she had some diaper rash before which cleared up and it doesn't look like that. I googled and it sounds like she could have thrush. Does that sound right? Should I give it a couple of days to see what it does or call her doctor tomorrow?

Hurmm... Sometimes my LO gets bumps in that area and it goes away in a few hours/by the next day.
I would wait to see if it goes away. If it doesn't, definitely call her doctor.

I'd give it a couple days. Could just be more diaper rash. DD's always looks a little different. It MAY have a little yeast in it, but I'd wait it out for while

I was just at the doctor's yesterday for LO's one month check up, and he said it was yeast.
Gave me a hydro cortisone/canesten cream combo (well, a prescription for) and I have only put it on twice since the appt ever so sparingly and it is already starting to clear up!
I was confused as I have just switched from disposables to cloth, and couldn't quite figure out if it was sposies, CD's, or any creams we've tried, doc said the red bumps were yeast and not to worry with the cream, it'd clear right up -so far, I believe him!
