DS (18 months) has occasions where his penis tends to get a little red. Usually, we just bathe him more frequently and try to change his diaper more. We cloth diaper as well, so sometimes I wonder whether it is the diapers, but this redness comes and goes.

It makes me sad when this happens, because I wonder what we could've done to prevent this. He actually says it "hurts" and points to it! Heartbreaking!

Anyway, just wondering what you use for when this happens. So far, I've been applying some coconut oil, but I can tell it makes him uncomfortable. How long does the redness usually last for, and did it get worse for you guys?
