I have a question about page numbers.

@Cara M. 17: I am part of a magazine publishing team and fairly new at it (obviously!) and trying to put page numbers on 84 pages. I know how to put them in the footer but I had to go through each page and change the number to correspond to the page number. Is there a way to insert page numbers so it shows up with the right number on each page? It took me FOREVER to do it and figured there has to be an easier way!

@Lindsay05: Do you have Acrobat Pro?
If you do, it's very easy. Click on the Tools panel, then Pages, then Edit Page Design. Click add a Header & Footer. In that area, there is a button for inserting a page number. You can customize the page numbers (let's say you want them to start on page 2 instead of page 1 or something) by clicking the blue "Page Number and Date Format" or "Page Range Options." Hope this helps!

@twodoghouse: Thanks for your reply! I tried this and it chooses the same page number for every page. Maybe i did it wrong!

Oh darn. I'm sorry that didn't work. I wonder if there is an additional setting somewhere to # the pages continuously? I've never had that problem before!
