Ok tooooootally not baby related but I'm wondering if anyone (or your mom, or aunt, or grandma, etc) has had any success with products that help with thinning hair. I'm 7 months postpartum so my hair is thin but growing back, but my mom pointed out that I will probably have thinning hair in the future since both herself and my grandma do. 
It makes my mom really sad! Anything out there work for anyone that I could recommend to my mom (and keep in mind for the future for myself)??

Hair loss is mostly genetic, as I've learned. You can do things to slow the shedding but unfortunately not to stop it. I started shedding my beautiful thick hair when I was a teenager and the two things I've found that help to slow the shedding are taking gnc's hair skin and nails vitamins which have a ton of biotin in them and for me, eating meat every day. But i think the meat thing is probably specific to me....anyway It is important to note that you probably won't notice a difference for a couple weeks - it takes that long to show up in your hair. Anyway good luck. I know how stressful it can be! I stressed about it for a decade before I realized I couldn't do much about it. Worse comes to worst, I will buy a high quality wig!

I took biotin vitamins to help my hair grow before my wedding. I don't know if it will help with thinning hair but maybe it's worth a shot?
